Oh bearer of the lamp,
Do not let your flame extinguish,
But lay your wick within the oil,
So that it may soak.
Let it soak and be covered in oil so that it may burn the brightest,
For those who are lost may see.
Let the shadows pass away as the light reaches the far corners of the room.
Burn bright.
Open your doors so that the weary traveler may find a place of rest.
Lock your windows though, so that the thief may not enter in.
Stand on the roof tops and pray.
Water your garden so that the seeds may grow into trees with deep roots within the flowing waters below.
Oh you and your *** appeal,
But with a heart that does not feel.
Time and time I've said goodbye,
The I say lets give it another try.
But it would be a lie,
A lie to say that your heart does not feel.
And to give it another try,
Would be like sliding on a banana peel.
A man with a heart of gold.
Wouldn't I be so bold,
To say,
That it was our story being told of a Romeo and Juliette.
That the time for us is not yet.
What a bet!
Like a jester who dances for the King and Queen.
Let's say its somewhere I've already been.
If it had been foreseen,
The lesson would of already been learnt and,
The girl already burnt.
I thought I saw you today,
Between wild waves of the sea.
I recognized your movements:
Untamed
Dangerous
But oh so attractive
Oh so very tempting.
The sea breeze touched my face,
Just like your kisses.
I never realized how cold they were,
Until you took the sun off my sky.
You were like grains of sand
Still found on your skin
Weeks after leaving the beach.
Needless to say,
I might never get away from you.
Send me words like gentle fingers,
poetic kisses, soft and slow,
send them here upon the ether
thoughts abound on starlight glow.
Words can bring such sweet sensation,
skin on skin fires lovers eyes,
hips and hearts in slow rotation
quiet moans and sated sighs.
Gently take my hand and lead me
to pleasure's peak, my heart's delight,
your words will be this souls companion
on this lonely moonstruck night.

you are not your grades or your scars
your height or your weight
you are not your face or the color of your hair

you are the person you define yourself to be
you are who you want to be
you are not the opinion of the people around you

you are your soul
be it old or young
you have lived many lives
and this is just the beginning
