i believe,
even the stars
get tired.

when the night sky
had folded them away
back into the darkness

and the moon,
that lonesome thing,
has doused itself in shadows.

so will you too, my friend
shy away from the light
as if it would burn
if it reached you.

maybe you feel,
you just are not strong enough
to face the day.

that the midnight hour
is a broken thing

and oh, the silence
is deafening.

and you and i know, even the stars
are tired.

you mourn for them
as their light expires.

be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

Poet X
I swear I’m not a love poet but

loving you
makes me scared of dying .

I know what it’s all about now,
I get why the sun rises
and the moon sets.
I understand why the stars shine
and the birds chirp.
I get why the heart beats
and the lungs breathe.

I get it now,
why I’m alive.
loving you is the only thing I feel good at .
You said forgive but not forget,

I torment and your tears my fret,

I pair in love but you drift away,

I've lose the path each lonely day.

I want to tend and care with love.

To hold your hand with your heart above.

Will you listen to the wind tonight,

And hear me whisper in sad delight.

Leave it to the mind
Of a flower
To deny the beauty of
It’s own petals
Even though
It shares the same soil
As all of the others
the job of the artist
is to be
luminous and dangerous

luminous to others
by being
dangerous to themselves

when the words are ripped from the chest,
atmosphere disbursed by the body’s projectile messes,
starburst fireworks,
luminous and dangerous,
luminating the shared night,
laminating your truths,
in poems disguised

and so the job,
our work,
begins
I walked the woodland
of my dreams
drank the water of truth
blessed me in front of
the waterfall of beauty
I wrote down words that
floated from my heart to
mind
Not once have I feared life
would not be fair.

I climbed the mountain
brave and proud
I joined the Bird's free
within the realm of
all I believed
I still climb my mountain
maybe a little stronger
in spirit, somewhat wiser
spreading my wings flying with the
wind of promise.

She is a hive full of
Sweetness.
But , never far from
the sting .

“I see you “ she smiles
as she touches my face .

Upstairs she lies
with coverlets and curtains.

I am searching
and searching.
But , for what
I’m not sure .

Maybe diamonds
but probably
Fireflies and Lace .

Working towards not
losing my shadow.

My inertia’s held
prisoner
to her beauty
my moral vision
called and questioned.
The death of leaves ,
stranded on the high wire
in the back of beyond.

Please place your
Pale palms to
Paint a world of
Precious patterns
With gentle brushstrokes,
And a bleeding pen
Piercing through problems;
With pen in hand, I write
Persisted passages, where
Prosperity prevails,
And pretended puppets
Will be no more.

In September's golden, dappled light,
A love was born, pure and bright.
Beneath the changing leaves so fair,
Two hearts found something rare.

As summer's warmth began to fade,
In your arms, a serenade,
We danced amidst the autumn's grace,
A love so sweet, a warm embrace.

The cool breeze whispered secrets deep,
In September, our love took a leap,
Like leaves that flutter to the ground,
Our love, in freefall, was unbound.

In every amber-hued sunset's glow,
Our love continued to bloom and grow,
Hand in hand through life's array,
In September's love, we found our way.

Through storms and sunshine, thick and thin,
Our love endures, forever akin,
In this September's gentle breeze,
We found a love that truly frees.

So let September's love declare,
That love is endless, beyond compare,
In every season, we'll endure,
September love, forever pure.
