We have defiled her
She screams silently while we claim we have refined her

She grew up inside roses,
a single dress with footsteps of needle sets.
Her thighs now smothered by ropes of skirts, each embedding it's mark, these are the scars she must bear.
Her parents are skeletons, pendulous in coat hangers, dressed in old leathers with jaws fractured.

have we refined her as we claim?
Silently she screams
We have defiled her!
I promise you it's not what you think!

I do Apologies for being gone so long
i loved her at first sight
if you ask how
the answer is all white
not one point till now.

was i too fool a guy
did i make haste
right now can't tell you why
that boy knows the best.

that boy who held his gaze
right on her face
read there in his daze
written happiness.

if you ever find him out
you may ask him how
he loved the girl at first sight
and loving her till now.
dedicated to the girl for being with that boy for 31 years, this day.

This morning drifts
upon scattered leaves
as tiny raindrops
fall the eaves
from clouded form
in shades of gray
when sunlight hides
its shine away

The flowers droop
of garden share
neath willow branch
and dampened air
with spider webs
in woven strand
mosaics draped
across the land

And sparrows lie
in huddled rest
on folded wing
within their nest
A dreary day
of tempered mist
when colors found
are darkly kissed

Yet as I gaze
into your eyes
my thoughts begin
with azure skies,
sweet buttercups
of golden glow
in meadows green
their petals flow

Of butterflies
and bumblebees
like rainbows float
through emerald trees
For every beauty
there might be
I find them when
you smile at me

So bring the rain
and gloomy faire
For in my heart
I shall not care
As all my days
begin with you
and there is not
*a better hue
Good morning beautiful

The skies threatened
but only a single rain drop
fell, landing atop a large mountain

It felt worthless, the darkest skies,
a gloomy forecast,
for it was him…discarded,
tossed away from his home,
spit out by the mother cloud

He trickled down the side
through crevice and cracks,
“What difference does it make,
I’m nothing anyway” he sighed

Around twists and turns,
neath prickly shrubs, dodging thorns,
faster and faster he ran
sure now he was going to die
but who cares….

Unable to control his speed,
fear began to collect
the closer to the ground he got

This was it, the end,
he could see the earth
approaching rapidly,
“goodbye” he thought
“No one will miss me anyway,
I am a failure, good riddance”

But when he reached the bottom,
he splashed into a puddle
that was happy to see him,
for this lone drop of rain
would extend its life,
if only for a few moments more…
Someone will always want and need you....
