He was lonely, as was his heart, carver
Of wood, he searched upon forest &
Glade till before his eyes laid sight of a masterpiece,
Home he hurried
Carving,
Smoothing,
Varnishing
Not noticing or ignoring the black knot
But unbeknown, this was a deeper
Problem. Rotten, decayed black festered
Within not showing on the outside,
But things are missed in joy,
Things that will haunt, but he was finished
His boy of wood stood before
His so tearful eyes, your only wood
Only inanimate, sitting before my weeping eyes.
Heard where his whispers
Upon a night were they asked back,
"You are of sound heart"
"You are of compassion"
"You will have a son of wood with life in his heart"
As he looked upward,
A sight befell his reddened eyes
"FATHER"
Words fell forth unto his ears,
"Did you just speak??
"Father"
He hugged upon wood given life,
"Son"
"Son"
"A boy of my own given life"
"I love you son"
"I love you father"
His nose grew,
leaves sprouted forth,
"Aaghhhhh"
As Pinocchio snapped what grew forth,
And throw it upon the floor,
In pain he reeled,
"Son be calm"
For lies will be greeted by growth
Shall a lie be told, only good boys
And girls realise that honesty will be rewarded.
With that he cuddled his father, you know
Not love but I will show you unconditionally
Till you understand honesty also love,
Upon those words both bedded
For the night was late and father was old,
But he never slept, upon the floor
Part of him that broke off,
Now tainted black,
As it had succumb to its chosen fate,
As he fashioned upon tools
A living weapon,
"Blackest as night"
He felt connected
They were apart but one.
Into the bedroom he crept,
"Father"
"Father"
"Awaken"
Startled old eyes widen, I have a gift,
As he plunges it forth,
Son whhhhy I loveeee youuu
"I am but wooden given life"
"Blackness rots inside"
"It must feed"
For without it I will cease,
When I was just cold
It was my end no difference to any one.
And now given life
That is all that matters this night,
And with that he ****** into his
"Fathers heart"
He felt relief inside no more ties
But he cried splintered tears upon his
Blood they mixed upon the floor
He had extinguished his first life.
He needed to stem the flow as
He felt the veins rooting further
Life was his not easily given up,
The town fell silent that night,
As he fed well, he charred his
Finger tips black upon once so tanned,
So to feed with both knife and hand.
He would travel the world, death in his wake
All thought
"How unique"
"How harmless"
"How sweet"
But when the hunger craved,
Life was bled,  life was ceased
All for the rot to not **** this wooden boy
"Rotten core in a boys shell"
Prey his nose does not grow just a little
Because your time in life will be up.
Sometimes It Makes You Wonder

Sometimes it makes you wonder
Just what was on their minds
The day that they promoted them
Thinking they would do just fine

They say they have the answers
Think they understand
Know for sure it will work out
Because they have a plan

You watch them make mistakes
Try to help out where you can
Then get told just do your job
They don't need a helping hand

So now you sit back and just laugh
At decisions that are made
Because you know they've been tried
And failed along the way

You would think that they could see
Your experience could just help
Use the knowledge that you have
Before they get walked out

But they just keep on pretending
They hope that no one sees
That what they know is no where close
To where it needs to be

Sometimes it makes you wonder
What was on their minds
The day that they promoted them
Thinking they would do just fine.

Sometimes it makes you wonder

Sometimes the boss simply shouldn't be the boss. You try to offer help but cant force them to accept it. So there is nothing you can do but watch the destruction because if they won't listen or accept the help then they have to learn the hard way.  And Unfortunately this is a sad but true story...lol

The badge is a symbol of
Honour
Sacrifice
Respect
Do not let the few
That tarnish this code
Earning your disrespect
For there are those that believe
In the code, to protect the
Weak,
Vulnerable,
Laws,
To uphold, for them to do there best,
You may see them as an enemy,
But the few who taint
Do not stand for the rest,
They made an oath to
Protect
&
Serve
Give them your trust,
And they will give it right back..
I Know My Work Is Done

I looked down in pure amazement
And watched my son arrive
Counted all his fingers
To make sure he was alright

I would sit with him for hours
And rock him through the night
And I wondered how the child I held
Would somehow change my life

He would place his tiny hands in mine
So I could guide him on his path
Would not be afraid to tell his friends
How much he loved his dad

I remember him requesting me
At all his high school games
And when he'd see me in the stands
There'd be a smile there on his face

I would give to him all he needs
To help him grow into a man
Made sure he knew to show respect
And to lend a helping hand

He would ask for my opinions
On events within his life
And wanted me to stand with him
As he married his new wife

Now he looks down in pure amazement
As his new born son arrives
I watch him counting fingers
To make sure he is alright

I know now how he changed my life
As I watch him with his son
I can see the love that they share
And I know, I know my work is done

The Ohio State Buckeyes
National Champions

THE Ohio State Buckeyes
National Champions of the land
They said we could not beat the ducks
But we proved them wrong again

First playoff champion to be crowned
The Urban legand had a plan
He would stuff the ducks with poison nuts
Then tar and feather them

The ducks they did put up a fight
And a salute we give to them
It took the Buckeye strength and speed
To finally brake them in the end

So let us all now stand in honor
And let it be known throughout the land

**Poem by: Buckeye Carl Joseph Roberts
LoL guys its just a poem for me to get out being happy for my team. Ist fine not everything has to trend and not everyone has to like everything all the time. Write for the love of poetry not for anything else.
Great game, share with friends.
We are, THE Ohio State Buckeyes

Those Oregon ducks look flashy
With pretty feathers made for flight
But The Ohio State Buckeyes
We will clip their wings tonight

Our Buckeye team beat Bama
They were ranked at number one
Now we get to go Duck hunting
With Cardale and his shotgun

The Ducks they did look good
Lets give credit where credit's due
They beat undefeated Florida State
So they deserve to be there too

With Ezekiel Elliott making runs
And Urban Meyer making calls
A quarterback known as twelve guage
The Buckeyes will win it all

So now we get to go duck hunting
And as a team we hunt as one
We are the Buckeye Nation
And Duck Season has begun

Please add to a few collections and help it trend. And I accept any and all trash talk. I know on the 13th after the Championship game you will come back with how wrong you were and admit finally to the world that my Ohio State Buckeyes are the best team in the country......OR....lol
United Nations

Let us all now make this promise
To be signed by every land
If you hurt the children of this world
As United Nations we will stand

You may never use our children
As fighters in your wars
For our children are not soldiers
They are gifts to be adored

Don't think that you can take them
Or use them as your shields
That the killing of our children
Will help to change the way we feel

No one shall ever force a child
To preform like an adult
For that gift is only theirs to give
When true love is in their hearts

Know the world now stands together
For this fight is worth the cause
And our countries have no boarders
When children are involved

Let us all now make this promise
To be signed by every land
If you hurt the children of this world
As United Nations we will stand
