Empath

Remember when we used to play-fight on your same kitchen floor as mine
My little empath, I am so deeply sorry

I was your cruel filter which made me go blind, and to not realize how much further pain I had brought to you, I did not mind

You will always be mine, my beautiful empath
Your hair so much sunnier but your soul darkened from my distance
Your restless, enticed passion which breathes heavily in your eyes, I beg to return

If only I had listened to your beautiful cries, my sweet empath
We may have had another chance to find our young hearts again

JDK
Muse of many.
Committed to none.
Play on lovely lyre,
play on.

Guiding light to the lost.
Promise of hope for everyone.
Shine on lovely star,
shine on.
I am the first light
Dancing on petals,
The only flower
Left last in fields,
I am the cloudburst
That drops from sky,
I am the cleansing,
The earthly scent
After sweet rains,
I am the vast ocean,
Rocking earths cradle
Sunlight singing, dancing
Atop the sparkling waves.

I am the white bird
Who sails in the blue,
Join me in the light,
In sky, so much room,
Circle with me, above
The sea, race with me
Into the long night trails
Of the shining moon.

the Sandman
You are winter afternoons;
You're light jackets and khakhi shirts;
You are long fingers twined around a cup of chai;
You're the authentic exotic experience without the strings.
My cool heat that stings the back and caresses the arms,
You blow hot/blow cold
Alternately.
When you're hot
And my hands are stuffed in my pockets,
You are gentle and intense
And full of purpose
But with the spring,
You whirl away in dust,
Leaving your tropical wonderland
Bitter, barren and absent.
My Persephone that retreats to the underworld,
You take away my flowers
Too soon.
Let me have May with you;
Wait for me to catch up.
Slow down.
I'm counting in clicks of the clock
Our ons and our offs.

Amey Rajeshirke
her strawberry kissed lips
purse, in the blue summer rain
I lean into her
don't be afraid to express your love
Did those stones remember
Those words we spoke
As had been spoken
Centuries before

Did the soil recall
The footprints of those
Who made the journey here
Centuries before

Did we think then
The same thoughts
As the radicals who met
Centuries before

To whom I owe so much
