Just Another Girl.
Apoorva Aug 2014
She's just a Girl,
With a heart so very fragile just like glass.
Just a girl whose heart is shattered,
She's numb, she wants to stop feeling,She's Just another Girl.

Just a girl who lost her heart to a pretty boy,
Then the pretty boy took her heart willingly,
Played with, made it jump, made it swirl,
Finally he dropped it, shattering her heart into a million pieces,  she's Just another Girl.

She fights everyday to keep her emotions in check,
Making sure no one is hurt in the process,
Moving through daily life routines like a zombie,
She's lost hope on the word LIVING, she's  Just another Girl.

The pain was so harrowing, she just wanted to stop feeling,
It made her so **** numb, she lost trust in Humanity.
He walked away leaving her and her heart in a million pieces,
Why should she trust someone else, she's Just another Girl.

But then he walks in... Smiling at her... making her want to believe in LOVE again,
But is it worth trusting someone with a Heart that was already  once broken?
He said all the right things, then again even the previous guy said all the right things,
She was just plain confused, she wanted to believe him but the past refused to let go,she's  Just another Girl.

Here comes the best part, he completely understood what's going on with her,
He blew away the confusion the numbness with the care in his eyes and his actions.
He proved to her, that LOVE does exist, that for every ***** there is a gentleman.
He made her believe in him, in Love, in Living, in HER.

He made her believe that she is not Just another Girl.
She is worth Everything he has, that she owns him.
He made her FEEL again, Feel Special she never felt Special.
She No Longer Remained Just Another Girl, She was HIS Girl!

The young one
Apoorva Aug 2014
She broke into tears,
She was broken heart, mind and soul.
The pain demanded to be felt.
She felt it all over, ripping her very being apart.

It seemed like her body…
Like her body had cracked.
Sometimes you need to crack,
For light enters only through the cracks.

She didn’t think she could be fixed.
She considered herself an emotional wreck.
Her purity was polluted by his filthy looks, hands.
There was no cure, no remedy, she was abused.

She masked her pain behind a smile,
A broken smile, a smile nonetheless.
They were astonished that she was so brave.
She didn’t need their pity, she just wanted to be healed.

His memories haunted her every day!
She was just a little girl,
What was the beast thinking when he violated her?
He violated her body, her mind, and scarred her for life.

The pain shot through her, taking her breath away.
She couldn’t breathe,
She couldn’t fathom how broken she was.
She just had to move on!

Move on from him!
Move on from the torture he afflicted upon her.
Move on from the memories etched in her heart!
Hit the delete button on him and his memories!

I wonder what it would feel,
For once in my life to be choosen first.
I keep yearning for him to choose me first,  to love me first, to be happy with me for who I am. To stop comparing me to the first wheel. Every time I realize I'm only second wheel.
What's wrong to be second wheel you ask me?  Well there's nothing wrong in being second wheel. It is the feeling that comes along with it that makes it wrong. The feeling of being used,  the pretentious care. It just hurts,  it hurts so much that you want to just stop feeling.
You want to stop feeling the anger that why are you second wheel? you want to stop feeling all the pain he caused you.  The only thing you've given him is unconditional love.  The worst part is you'll still choose him first!
You can't help but love him. He's your blood. You have to love him..  isn't he supposed to love you the same way?  All the second wheel can ask is why doesn't he choose me first just once in my life?
Poor second wheel doesnt realize she is always going to be second wheel.  She will never be valued for who she is! She is just a second wheel!
She sits here hoping he'll realize what he did was wrong!  Deep down she knows he will never realize it , his first wheel is better, shinier,  smarter, and just everything he wants.  The second wheel remains where she is, behind, no one to care about her . A burden forever.  Poor Poor second wheel, one day she'll learn to give in and learn that hope is meant to shatter in her life!
Till then she'll live in a false world and have hopes that will only break her heart!
