You silenced us
Ruined my trust

No longer on your mind
But you're still on mine

Why did you ruin this
Why did you let us kiss

Now we are standing in the attic,
gazing face to face.
What you said awhile back was different,
which left my mind caught in a haze.

Last time I was about to confess my feelings,
but you gallantly pushed me away.
I stormed down weeping,
hoping you'd stop me and ask me to stay.

Now we're back at the same position,
but really not quite the same.
You profess that you didn't meant your words,
and so your love you excitedly proclaim.

I have always wanted for you to say this,
now my own heart has been torn to two.
I shakily told you it's too late,
I'm already engaged to someone new.
this is about will and tessa, really. it's very heartbreaking.

Autumn Rose
Sing my restless heart
in a poem of wild roses
that bloom in the morning sky.
One verse for love
One verse for grief
One verse for lament

Paint the ageless beauty
of my face on your canvas of
ice and snow.
One color for my hair
One color for my lips
One color for my eyes

Play my melancholy soul
into a symphony on a vintage piano.
One note for yearning
One note for hope
One note for freedom

It was the wind
that woke up my heart
Kissing me gently as lovers do
It was the wind I am telling you

It was the sun
that made my soul smile
Telling me stories of ancient times
It was the sun in its own prime

It was the fields
That let my eyes feast
With all that beautiful green
It was the fields like I have never seen

It was the mountains
That made me feel I was the king
Sharing the secrets known only to them
It was the mountains they are to blame

It was the clouds
That taught me how to sing
Showing that life shouldn't be strange
It was the clouds that made me change

It was Love who
Woke up my heart
Made my soul smile
Let my eyes feast
Made me feel I was the king
It was Love who
Thought me how to sing
