I was simple and platonic
You were a hurricane of passion
All too eager to sweep me up
But I shied away from your storm
And recluded into quiet rain
While you blazed lightning
And screamed thunder from the sky
You tried to pull my hand
Lead me to the open plains
Where we could smile as wide as the moon
And throw cautions to the air currents
But the sun came up
And with the rays of sunlight
That bore through trees
I crept away from you and your thunder
For fear that you were simply
My midnight tempest
And as dawn arose you would sink.
But you stayed,
And my storms haven't been the same since.

I love the freckle
underneath your eye,
that reminds me of
splattered paint.
For Dylan- I don't know what I would do without you

Love is how I stare at u .
Long , slow , without any thoughts .

Love is how I kiss u.
Strong , fierce , greedy , and hungry for more.

Love is how I yearn to hold u.
Tight , close , desperately awaiting your next touch .

Love is how I dance at midnight for u.
Naked, bare, slow , ready to rupture .

Love is 1:52 AM , your asleep and I'm here admiring u .

I like reading all of these poems by hopeless romantics.
Swallowing the objects of their affection.
I like it because I've already been digested and **** out by you.
You're so lovely.

Sometimes my best poems
Are better left unsaid,
Forgotten in my memory
For the rest of you
To read in me.
