Don't treat God like a Genie,
He is a great man and powerful,
But he requires more attention than a Genie.
No three wishes when it comes to him.
No you make constant prays,
Not towards you but those who lay.
If you treat God like a Genie don't expect good credit,
No expect twisted words and a lonely bed.
I treated God like a Genie and this is got;
Abunt of men who got what he wanted,
A **** boy who isn't very taunt.
A man who I would have fallen in love.
So with this,
I plead a warning,
Don't ever treat God like a Genie

too often i find myself
feeling like my head
is a balloon full of helium
tethering itself to my neck
by a ribbon curled with
an open pair of scissors

too often i find myself telling myself
that this isn’t a good way to feel,
that this is how it started last time,
that i should eat more food,
drink less coffee but more *****.

too often i taste him
underneath my fingernails and
wonder how long it will take
for my cuticles to forget him
and wonder when the nightmares
might give it a rest,
because i could use some sleep.

I never should have let it go
That far
Even now, I can still feel
The aftershocks of your choices.

Release the stress
Let go
Let yourself breath
Just be
Flow with Mother Nature
Melt into the songbirds' echo
Blend with the ancient trees
Oh so high
Mix with the tide
The push the pull
Of life
That's how it's meant to be
For you
To just be

Feel the sweet release
Of the self doubt processing your happiness
Stealing your peace of mind
And just be
Be okay with who you are
Fly to you
Accept yourself with open arms
