I do love rain! I do!
A sweater and a cup of tea
My bed and the silly thoughts
in my head

Dancing and kissing in the rain
Laughter playing in the mud
I would say, It was insane
and a little rad

But sometimes, a sail in a storm
could wash you away
A lighting that struck
could **** a day

A heartbreak isn't okay
There are times when it rains
Tears stream down my face
Watching the sky,
from my window pane
Dark as a broken heart
Everything is gray

Raindrops ripple
Like the water
coming from my eyes
A distraught mind

Then all I wish is for rain to go away.*

I'm lost in your eyes
drowning away
Don't worry about me
I don't want to be saved
Adele Aug 2014
Messy hair, I just don't care
Boring clothes on, why do you care?
No make up day, eyes everywhere
Nah, not running extra mile
Throwing daggers? nope! Still don't care.
Stab me behind whenever.
However... I won't care
like whatever.

I'm just here.
Standing still, wearing a smile.
Because what you think...
I just really don't care.
Say what you want to say.
Think what you want to think.

Still not caring, freedom is in the air.

Am I too late for this 'Freedom Challenge?' Here's what I think what freedom really is. Caring what other people think will just stress you out and anyway, it's your life. Do what you want! Be who you want to be! Stay happy and have fun while you can :)

We've become a
civilization of diseases
we build
monuments
statues
institutions
thinking death won't ever find
us here.

Our minds are scrambled
our bodies are damaged
our food is poisoned
our skies are toxic
our vices
are forces of processes
beyond our
control.

When we are not humbled
by nature's power
we inflict our wounds
upon ourselves in
the names of greed
and self protection
and no one knows
what it really means.

Fearful of the silence
we fill our skies with
endless noise
babbling on in endless
monotones, droning
while traffic stalls
at a hot stand still
idling engines
idling souls
depletion of every last glimpse
of the past.
Jam packed
in the stench
I am lost today
in
this vitriol
as anxiety, death and desperation
from every corner
screams my name.

That's why I came
to these woods
where the illusion of
peace remains
as
wild fires burn
just down the lane
as you know
as you say
its always been this way
when bodies hung
at every cross-roads
hunger, power, ignorance
and strength
all ran
the show.

I'm sick with
every disease I
know.

I float upon these tranquil
blue waters
and
we are reminded of the peace we all
really can know.

There is a happy flower
As proud as he can be
Living In a garden
Beneath the garden tree
Sunny skies of blue
What he loves to see
There is a happy flower
Growing wild and free
~
There is a happy flower
As cute as she can be
Living in a garden
Beneath the garden tree
Birds of every color
What she loves to see
There is a happy flower
Blooming beautifully
~
A funny thing did happen
Deep beneath the ground
In amongst the dirt and worms
Where darkness can be found
Roots began to travel
One set to the west
The other moving eastward
A very lengthy quest
Till one day it happened
The roots began to touch
They really loved the feeling
They loved it oh so much
These roots they grew connected
Locked together tight
Hoping that the other
Wishing that they might
Would know the others feelings
Soon become as one
Living life together
Underneath the sun
They’ll hold on for forever
Or till the end of time
Roots of his and roots of hers
Living intertwined
~
There are two happy flowers
Blooming Beautifully
In two different gardens
Beneath two different trees
Their roots to stay connected
Until eternity
Two happy little flowers
In love as they can be
