The dusty storms of the Sahara,
The Egyptian Pharaoh,
The beautiful pyramids and the precious jewels of Cleopatra,

The deep blue sea,
The rare coral reefs,
An exotic bloom and a swarm of fish,

The marvelous Taj Mahal,
The resplendent minars,
Moonlight irradiates the charm of the building,

The enthralling and engaging Kaaba,
The charismatic surrounding and the soothing sounds of Salah,
Such a heavenly feeling.
Nature is taking its course
Things will eventually change
Nothing will ever stay the same
Moments and objects will be rearranged
Obstacles will often try to deter you
You may fall before you rise
Never ever give up hope
You just need to open your eyes
(20 minute poetry)
Fortune favours the fortunate,
forget about it favouring the brave,
we are slaves to the knaves and the
queen,
king of spades.

The brave fade fast and no fortunes can last
as the dealer throws a pack in the shoe.

What
is nothing new and why it was something to do don't deter and chemin de fer for a fee
cannot make a gambler
or set a man free.

I remain the scab on the night sky,
the pauper that begs you and
you pass me by.

The moon be my fortune
the stars be my trove.

And so I rove
I'm a river
a rover,
two aces up my sleeve two
times over and that's four
of a kind and I find in the
end I don't mind
if I do.

The Dedpoet
I see a fool of man in the mirror.
I'm writing about myself in reflection
To my reflection.

I sit down and burp, I say excuse me,
And there is no one around.

I shave and feel my face,
I point at the man in the mirror
And say" You da man!"

I write a philosophical poem about silence,
Suddenly I am in a league with Socrates.

I look for my keys and call myself stupid for
Losing them. I give myself a break.

I step on a nail at work and watch the blood trickle
Out of my foot. There goes a pair of socks!

I give a dollar to a homeless man.
I feel as though I may be a philanthropist.

I get on the bus and eat my lunch,
I then ponder the physics of the universe.

I'm here writing my thoughts about my thoughts.
Does this make me a thinker? I think.....
My thoughts, honest approach. :)

When I was still young and fresh
A million years ago
I walked on edges
Always on the edge of something
Something wild

Bright lights and long nights
Lots of laughter and music
Always music
Singing with the band
Dodging the flying glass
When fights broke out
Howling to the moon
Oh, wild indeed were we

All shadows now, alas
Visions from an addled brain
Pubs, clubs and smoky dumps
Leave no turn unstoned was the cry
More fun than fundamental
And fundamentally flawed, it was
A couple of hours sleep 'fore the day job
With eye-lids stuck together
And walking into walls
But still I wouldn't have swapped it
For all the strait laced straight faced
Wealth in the world

In your highs and your lows,
Your happiness and your despair,
Your brilliance and your confusion,
Your purity and your sin,
Your dark and your bright,
Your sunshine days and desperate nights,
I want you in your all,
I want your entirety

Did you ever wonder
Why the sky is blue
Or the lightening and the thunder
Serves to frighten you
When you see a flock of birds
Flying in the sky
Have you ever asked yourself
On whom do they rely

Did you ever wonder
Or take the time to think
Who gave you food to eat
Or the water that you drink
How could anybody say
That he doesn’t exist
Are they deaf and blind
Or simply just remiss

Did you ever wonder
Do you have the thirst
For a deeper knowledge
Of the universe
Have you ever thought about
What can’t be explained
Things that some attribute
To other men in vain

Did you ever wonder
Or take the time to think
Who gave you food to eat
Or the water that you drink
How could anybody say
That he doesn’t exist
Are they deaf, dumb and blind
Or simply just remiss

Your wonders are everywhere
For us to behold
But some ignore clear evidence
Even when it’s shown
I’m not judging them
Though their judgment’s coming soon
But they still have a gambler’s chance
To avoid their doom

Did you ever wonder
Or take the time to think
Who gave you food to eat
Or the water that you drink
How could anybody say
That he doesn’t exist
Are they deaf, dumb and blind
Or simply just remiss

Some say you’re omnipotent
Others just unseen
And I’d agree with both of them
Depending what they mean
Because I see you everywhere
And in everything
A blade of grass a mountain top
And church bells when they ring

Your wonders are everywhere
For us to behold
But some ignore clear evidence
Even when it’s shown
I’m not judging them
Though their judgment’s coming soon
But they still have a gambler’s chance
To avoid their doom
