over my shoulders;

To be fair, the fridgetop
looked unsafe, even for
sure-footed feline folk;
then I couldn’t resist,

All that fur, fluffy and soft;
your reprimand was
fairly played; forgive me,
you make a cozy scarf

To earn our sash

She’s got stories buried inside her
Tho you’d never guess it at a glance
Hidden behind pleasant smiles
Under neatly normal clothes
Wild, wonderful tales nobody knows
If only they’d give her a chance
