Like rainfall
On a windowpane,
So crystalline, so clear,
Sliding down
As teardrops
To slowly reappear,
As puddles
In my misery,
To seep away
With time.
But emotively,
Your cloudburst,
Paints these
Fresh teardrops....
As mine.

a castle on the mountain
the secret harbour

a river flowing
in full spate

the gateway
a humbled heart

the pathway to the mountain
a childlike faith.
the ordinary is enough for me
eating, sleeping, driving
true happiness:
to see my sons are thriving

dailiness is salvation
a night of fearless sleep
check in with my sons
promises to keep

              beep beep
across my face.

I saw spring coming
in the meadow
where the wildflowers
whisper to the wind.

found freedom on a snowcapped mountain top,

smiled to the child offering violets
cradled in her tiny hands

and when she smiles to me

her joy ripples like sunlight
across the sea of love.

the curtain is lifted.

the soul becomes visible

(always in the wild places
in my heart.)
It’s the little things in life
That make all the difference
Like saying good morning
Smiling at someone
Saying thank you
Offering a hug
That brighten up a mood

That sweeten a day
Lift someone up
Lighten the world just a bit

Like saying good morning
Offering a compliment
Sharing a joke
Laughing
That make all the difference

It’s the little things in life
That make the difference
Why is everything pain
