She's pristine and serene
The queen of caffeine
She hangs out at the breakfast scene
Always smiling
Never Mean
She brings our cream

Paths criss cross
Across the land
like the lines
in the Palm, of
An old man's hand,
Old one grow over
and disappear,
Yet new ones form
year by year.
And the only thing
that remains the same
is the sun and moon
the wind and the rain

In the middle
of the forest
stands the creosote tree

Cryptic Phrases Fall upon the sand,
In late afternoon, Playing
Like  Old Words against a Memory.
Ethereal Images, of Old masters
Dancing Upon the Graves of Inquisitioners
Whose words lie Bate to Silence
...............JMF 1969
I penned this while studying the Spanish Inquisition in high School
In honor of the Free thinkers Martyred for Science

This morning rain
It's such a drain,
But a bit of Bright Blond,
Blows by,after the Dawn,
Releasing a Sigh,
Between the Yawns
and yearns for coffee.
As she fills my cup, her Smile
seems to perk me up,
So I drink it Fast
To make sure it Lasts,
That is until the next refill**

Silent Staunch The Sentry Stands
Guarding Graves of Grassy Fields
and Yesterday Afternoons
A Small Boy playing all the Men not in His Life
Forgetting Strife and Daily Deeds
Zones and Bonding, Contract Bidding
A Small Boy, still not too Old
The Cross Street Jungle Bought and Sold
and all thats left.....
Silent Staunch the Sentry Stands
Guarding Graves of Grassy Fields
and Yesterday Afternoons
