For sure there is this world
But where it is, I haven’t been told!

in the mirror
I watch you sleeping
& touch your image







unable to touch
the dream
behind your eyes






only your laughter
inhabiting both
worlds at once






on the other side of nowhere
...a dream away
the mirror laughs in its sleep

you won

your words won

they tore my soul to shreds and I don’t think i’ll be able to put them back together
