I carve the dusk with
Silver wings:
This day’s long dead – now grander things

Can softly speak,
Then spread, then sing!
This starlit cauldron’s simmering...

The Fox River flows
like a river of nothingness
Through my mind in the light
and my life in the dark

So many places like this
where I never have been
Exist in the world
outwith my experience

A bridge crosses over
the flowing waters
As endless as time
that I cannot tie down

On the library steps
beneath an Illinois sky
A woman gazes out
absorbing the scene

Where I do not feature
except in the mind
Testing conciousness
and the meaning of life.

Trust me
Please take my hand

I'll take you to another land

Where birds still sing
And flowers grow

Mountains spring
And rivers flow

With so much love
To fill the sea

Please accept
This gift from me

Trust me
Please take my hand

I'll take you to a better land
No
wonder
poets fall
for each other!
Words, a knowing art,
like brilliant suns of day,
shining truth of mind and heart.
They must be careful what they say!
The fall is swift, though it lands in clouds
where poets dream their languid days away...
Keep on creating the BBC SHERLOCK show

Because it’s the best series we’ll ever know

Keep on being a fantastic writer

Who makes our world brighter

Keep on acting Mycroft

Who’s sometimes so strong but he can also be soft

Keep on being Undershaw’s patron,

Protecting the home of the greatest author of the British Nation

Keep on being Mark Gatiss

Keep on being like this
poem on sherlock holmes ... great series for all time

To me the rain means to stay.
Water brings nourishment and life.
So plant your seeds and stay.
Let the rain take you home!
