Labels lock people up
Chain them in cages
Expects people to act in a certain way
Put people on different pages

So, what if there were no boxes
To hold us all in place
And no one cared about
The colour of your face

What does it matter
If you are black, white or brown?
So, what if we are different,
And from a different town

Why should anything define
who we are meant to be
Why can’t we just be happy,
Non-judgemental and free

We are told never to judge
a book by its cover
So why do we need categories
Why do we need a colour?

everyone is themselves
no one is the same
everyone is different
there is no need to name

we are all the same when we’re born
not programmed for a race
we are all the humans in the end
no matter the colour of our face

the shelters were full
surely that is why I found her
in the alley

she was as old and white as time...
probably three score, at most, though curled up
like a babe in the womb

her eyes were yet open:
what had she seen last, what had
her last supper been?

and where were the disciples
with bread and wine, with body and blood
while she froze on the hard earth?
A two minute poem has no requirements other than it be written in two minutes. One may edit afterwards, changing tense or number, and words may be eliminated, but no words can be added.

Going through so much change
My personalities aren't the same
I think I finally found my future
Lost a friend that I started to know

Went through so many thing
Lost a lover, thought he was the one
No support from parents or anyone
My life took a step off a cliff

I'm still alive, breathing
Taking medications to feel numbness
But I'm still alive
Trying my best to heal

Im off to a good start
At least I have hopes for my future
Most of my lifetime, I've lost hope
Finally I found it

Maybe I'm still the same
But I feel something different
Something that never existed
So this is the new me

I try to stay happy
But it's not easy
Though I have a better control of it
Not letting sorrow win over me

I've learned to go through all of this
By myself with no guidance
Inspirations helped me through
Made me who I am today

So I hope I make it to the end
Living my dream with my new soul
And anyone else who decides to join
Will you be part of my life?

And help me through the bumpy road?

Celebrate Chaos!

Revel in the mess
that lies just outside your well patterned,
Suffocating life.

Breathe and Let explore the new dream of freedom!
Breathe and Let everything turn new..

Be not afraid
'Tis only  life seeking to set itself free.
Be not afraid,
dear friend!
it is time, now
to bravely bare your light.
LIVE your light, your chaos, live life.
