Roar...
Wild, uninhibited: free.
Living authentically me.
Ready for more?

Moving beyond fight, fleeing and freeze,
To green pastures,
Living beyond disasters,
In peace, free to feel the gentle breeze.

Risk...
Pulses surge,
New thoughts emerge —
There are no boxes to tick.

Reward...
Works expanded,
Creativity flows,
Freely as the wind blows,
I move, no longer stranded.

Just freedom to be,
Imperfect, in deficit,
Out of control: incomplete.
Opening up to unforeseen possibilities.
This poem was inspired by a prophecy spoken over me.Enjoy

I named the clouds just to feel known,
told secrets to a skipping stone.
The wind replied with riddles sweet—
I laughed, alone, on crowded streets.

In the universe nothing's above the law
Yes
But on Earth nothing's stronger than love
That's my case sir
There in that tear drop
Gripped in a rose's glove.

Wake Up!

I wish I could go back in time and shake myself.

“Wake up!”

Wake up, to her freckles like starlight.
Wake up, to her smile like the rising sun.
Wake up, to her eyes like the blue sky.
Wake up, to her joy like the universe.

“Wake up!”

Wake up, to what is right in front of you.
Wake up, so beautifully alive and yours.

“Wake up!”

Wake up, before you break something that cannot be undone.
Now, when I wake up, I am alone.

We talk about the
past like it's a
movie we
watched together.
You liked the
cinematography.
I didn't care for the
cruelty of the
protagonist.

We disagree on the
theme, and every
scene holds different
aspects of
symbolism for us.
I'm not sure I want
there to be a sequel,
despite the good
acting.
