What is blood if not a metaphor?
A calling for help,
signal of despair,
relief even?
The color varies between souls,
hell even the meaning does.
For some its dark as it flows,
and could represent the hopeless feeling,
that feeling being never moving on,
never getting a second chance,
the end.
But for others its bright,
and holds the purpose of relief,
carelessness,
the sense of knowing that you're alive.
Even when it may not feel like it.
Blood could be love even.
A blood bond.
Or the rush of blood when you're eyes meet.
Even when the blade strikes and all you see is red.
Blood, one thing, a common thing,
Is so uncommon in so many ways,
So many misconceptions,
although how can one really describe blood,
as it is to oneself.
Flesh to flesh,
Skin to skin,
A constant feeling,
Of one,
Two bodies colliding,
Souls align in order to produce,
Produce this sensation,
Indescribable,
Cannot be replicated,
Tingle,
Of two,
Something that takes your breath away,
Makes you shiver and shake,
Crave this once it's gone,
Makes seconds feel like minutes,
Flesh to Flesh.
Fly
Fly
I will fly
Maybe not today, or tomorrow
Maybe not even this week or this month
But I will
IT's inevitable
The wings will form
Suited to my person
To my mind and to my being
Forming mental bridges
And mental blockers
One day and in one way not only will I fly
But I will be free
Free from myself
Free from the possibilities
Free from stress
And free from my mind
Pain won't exost
Hurt won't exist
Maybe I will, then again
Maybe not
Maybe I'll be numb
Or proud
Or delighted
But I will be free
I will have my wings
I will fly
Waiting
Just waiting
On edge
A sole belief
My wings will grow before I can
And I will fly before I can run
Either way I will leave
Fly
Fly
Fly away
