Downtown
looking around
I dont wear no crown
Dont wear no frown
I dont even
see the ground

my heads up high
With no reason why
Standing under a summers sky
And in the winter
My sorrow will return
Curtis Jul 2014
A summers day
But cold and grey
Like its fall
But it is not at all
Curtis Jul 2014
Sorrow seems to me
Comparable to quick sand
Very far from quick
Curtis Jul 2014
The smell
Of a release
From a restless hell
And a warm welcome
To the life of a busy worker bee

Everything is swell
Says a brew of bitter coffee

And so I thought
Why not
As I walked to the park
As it's dark

Anxiety
Threatened to **** me
So im going to sit
Amongst the trees
And the leaves
And just be
Just be me

Cigar in my hand
No words
No plans
Just me
And poetry

I got ice cream today
And to several girls
I would have liked to say
Hey
Did I?
Nay

I cant keep up with my thoughts
So I dont
I just remain lost
But not here where I sit
Where suburbia splits

Here
I am safe
I can think of no better place

Ever wondered,
What it's like to be dead?
Just spend a few months,
Inside your own head.

Remember,
You're not insane.
Your mind,
Is a beast to tame,
And life,
Is just your game.
How are you today

Exhaustion is an unwelcomed guest
Whos timing is a perfect pest
Always when my mind is best
It is time for rest
With DMT dreams
We all are blessed
