A peep at the clouds
A dance with the moon
A view of the skies
A berth in the sun
A flash of the blues
A soak in the rain
A wave of the breeze
A cheer(s) with the lips
A life flow of the spirit
A health to our souls
……………………….

……………………….
Of these celestial harmony
Oh! Terrestrials………..
Dance, glo, wave & cheer up
In this ballet of time
The rhythm of the hearth;
    Our soul’s joy
The mindscape at peace
A display on our faces.
Love is like a honeybee
On honeysuckle vines
Either lovers smell the blooms
Or they weep and pine.

The bee is so like Cupid
He goes from flower to flower
He will mate with many blooms
He tarrys there for hours.

He gathers pollen for the Queen
On his furry legs
The honeysuckle blooms do freely give
The fair bee will never beg!

But the bee is black and yellow
A warning meant for some
Who try to steal the honey
They will be undone!

For the bees **** sweet nectar
Of the yellow vine that's hung
But misuse the bee and make it mad
You'll end up being STUNG!! 🐝🐝🐝

BOX
I found a box in the back of the closet,
wrapped up in brown paper.
I’ve long suspected it was hidden
somewhere in that house-
the house that I grew up in.
It's taped shut and there is
nothing written on it anywhere
but it sounds like maybe there
could be something important inside.
I really do want to open it
even though I’m hoping
my suspicions were mistaken
And there is nothing in the new found box
but a photo of our family.

clouds embrace the sky,
horizon meets the dark sea,
shadows weave their tale.
So we cross island to island each morning.
