In every breath she took about you
She thought of herself being a wingless butterfly --a lot
Or her head in the oven and you turn it on without hesitation
Or a noose you tied for her hugged around her neck --tight

And yet they say, yet they say love is never selfish
I'm that girl,
whom everybody seems to rely on.
They know they have me,
where they want,
because I'm a puppy.
They know I'm not letting,
their,
***** little secrets,
out.
They know the can count on me.

''It's our little secret,''
they say,
with a grin on their faces,
showing the attention seeker side,
of them.
They wanna be heard,
and listened to,
so they come to me.

But what about,
when,
I need to be heard,
and listened to?
Who can I tell my own,
little secrets to?

betterdays
without a word
you can turn me
from my path,
leading me astray
and then another
minute, hour, day is gone.

you do one little thing
and my mind
becomes a blank canvas,
for you to draw
your funny little cartoon pictures on.

you can turn your head
and glance my way,
and i just melt
and commit with heart overwhelmed
to watching you play
and grow.

there will be a day,
far too soon,
when you will find,
my love for you,
awkward and embarassing. this i know and accept.

but for now, i can lose myself,
basking in the sunshine
of your love.
you are just
a little man right now
but you give a...
whole world of love
and a dollop of joy
and a sprinkle of hope,
in that happy, beeming, sunshine on a rainy day, smile.

you are my little, big, love

Burned out

A breath singed my way
Neath an umbrella’s stronghold

As thunderstorms called my name

Stranded in a forgotten footprint
Balanced on the edge of time

I drifted to another dream

Puddled pleasures watched
As I fell within your heart

Cushioned from injury…outside

Then shelter became my spiral
Spinning downward in fractured darkness

Internally destroyed in a sense

While crowded moonbeams spotlighted
Intentions formed to touch

Gripping reality’s illusion

So a faulty switch sleeps undercharged
In my current state of mind

As burned out filaments disguise me
