Vain

    She was stunningly beautiful
From head to toe, without a flaw
As if she was created with the universe
And her beauty was part of natural law

In her conscious she’s always worried
About looking her absolute best
Her hair and makeup and the clothes
She picked had to pass the mirror test

Her outer appearance meant everything
And slowly she became ugly on the inside
And those within her presence began
To wish they had a place they could hide

She became so obviously obsessed
And getting old sent her into a rage
She constantly was having plastic surgery
In countless attempts to hide her age

She died alone never did she comprehend
True beauty comes from within
Time will always take its toll on our outer
Appearance in a battle we can’t win

Life is so drastically short in time
And outer beauty will rarely remain
The moral being we should worry about our
Inner beauty and not be so vain

There's no time
to turn my worries into poetry
to build a structure
frame it
hang it up nicely

It has to come out, out, out
come out now

She was that kind of woman
That the wind washed over her face
The flowers emanated from her
a scent of a time forgotten

Said forever isn't my word
never knew you would turn it into a sword
digging deeper until it hurts
Though our fights were the worse
cause there were actually never the fights.
But now i see this empty space,
it feels like an ultimate sway just to chase
I told myself it's over, good and enough
but then again i wish it was none

and as you comes by
all my thoughts flys away
as if like they never exist
all my compliants seals away
as if like they were meant to be
all my hurt heals away
as if like it have to be
I'm telling it that was good and enough
and it denys as if it is all rough.
craving and hoping for renewal

You thought I was desperate
I wasn't, I was in love
Deeply, tragically, in love.
All of your negative thoughts about me
Are wrong
Just like all of my positive thoughts about you
You will never understand what you've lost
Just as I will never understand I haven't lost anything
