the ring of fire
burnt my soul
to nothingness

just when
i thought…..

‘death’

a breath
drew me in
and spewed me out

not gone now
but pure essence

I wish my
lips could
be sewn
shut with
a blood red
needle &
thread,
a visible
display
of how I
feel on my
worst of days
when I
want to
lock myself
away,
when words
are strangers
exchanging
kisses across
lips & hearts
are graveyards
burying
broken
promises.

life…..

a blank canvas

with blurred edges

and ambiguous spaces

thank you god

for allowing me

to paint

Write lines upon my heart
in pure white light
and I will read them

Taste the nectar
of unbounded
sincerity

Breathe in blossoming
warm compassion

Taste the nectar
of unbounded
sincerity

Touch the tender pool
of infinite white light

Breathe in blossoming
warm compassion

Taste the nectar
of unbounded
sincerity

Meet me in the air space
between your thoughts
For this is holy ground
With the greatest humility and gratitude, I wish to dedicate this poem tonight to all of you at HP who have shown such lovely support for this quiet poem, which emerged from my deepest inner awareness.
Above all, gratitude to my Teachers.

*Taking a breath
beneath heaven’s glowing embers
Calling the moon
as it passes through the night
Feeling the breeze
through the branches softly whisper
Dreaming of you
under stardust shimmered light
Kicking a stone
till it tumbles past the forest
Singing a song
to the echoes that I hear
Counting the stars
when I notice one is falling
Walking alone
always wishing you were here
