The day came when my pen no longer
Wrote your name

I kissed a girl with a broken smile;
nothing could come near.
She carved it with a pocket knife;
slit from ear to ear.
And she wears it like her favourite scarf;
it keeps her from the cold.
So I told her its only woven by
her enemies of old.
The sun and moon sharing the sky
Their love radiating from opposite edges of life's greatest masterpiece
When looking up at the amazing beauty of the sun and moon out at the same time on opposite sides of the sky.
There is nothing more powerful than that connection.

Hemorrhaging life
This heartbeat of mine dims with each passing night
I'm broken and I need mending
But I feel like the last one alive
And if I can't escape the confines of my mind
I'll be dead by daylight.
Wordplay featuring one of my favorite Horror Games.
You've given me tons of reasons to leave,
But I still stay
Because those reasons weren't enough
To keep me away

I've yet to forget the words to this song, and it echoes in the now empty spaces of my mind. Yeah you ****** me up, and I haven't been sober nearly long enough to find the time. I would relapse and forget the man I was if I could be the guy who knew how to make everything fine. But instead I'll find a different drug...and forget what was surely never mine.
