When the sun arises in the morning above the pristine snow
and the stillness of the silence brings the panting deer ahead
When the heaven laden trees of winter slices heaven's glow
I know for sure that you will be there, in all of my tomorrows

When the train has bridged the miles across the forest glades
and the January snowflakes have swiveled through the air,
like a thousand glistening diamonds, I will  venture into safety
with the knowledge that you'll be there, in all of my tomorrows

When winter turns to spring and then to softer June
I will wait inside this garden where all the flowers bloom
with the fragrance of her damask you will know that I was there
and you'll be certain of my presence, in all of your tomorrows,

In all of our tomorrows, we'll be there.

beth fwoah dream
black skies stretch
in darkness, the clouds
dissolve into rain,
the night is lacquered
with varnish like
a wooden floor,
shiny and surreal -

it breathes of night
bird and the magnolia
light of the moon, quivers
and then is still, wraps us
in the mirrored waters of the stars.

the moon elevates
the night from darkness to
hypnotic light, bathes
the world in silver, flows
with our tears and our
softly spoken words,

transcends like lazarus
to a sky witnessed
through centuries,
loved and worn like
our favourite old clothes.

Here is where you find me
As the coastal gales blow;
Gazing o'er the fierce sea.

And where I long to be,
This salted fuming show,
Here is where you find me.

Upon a cliff top free,
Above the ebbing flow,
Gazing o'er the fierce sea.

Or on the seaway quay
Where age-old sailors go;
Here is where you find me.

Breathless in a wild spree,
My senses all aglow,
Gazing o'er the fierce sea.

A roaring gift is she
I'll spend my life, I know;
Here is where you find me
Gazing o'er the fierce sea.

You were born near the warm ocean,
grew up around there,
With your clear acrylic smile
and sun-kissed blonde hair

I, the winter cold
More north than I can remember,
We met that day you visited,
a brisk chill, that December

We drank and danced,
while the years passed over
Argued and grew apart,
our greatest fears, now sober

My memories of you, once treasured
Now, faded
as sun deprived lands complain,
Forever, jaded
