Celestial Two
Chips Jun 2023
Unprecedented to me,
Your presence,
Hold constellations of the cosmos,
Planets of distant suns,
Secrets of the stars

Dearest Muse
Chips Mar 2023
Letters of yours,
Hidden in sight,
My trove of treasures,
A reader's delight,

Neatly packed,
With a ribbon or two,
They've arrived,
Long overdue,

Line by line,
I've traced your hue,
Scribbles of yours,
Enveloped in blue

Little Forests,
Chips Mar 2023
I carry with me,
Creatures and critters,
The moss on branches,
Heaps of soil,
Sunkissed leaves,
They're mine to keep

By The Fireplace
Chips Nov 2022
Fire is a sea of beautiful entities,
Gentle creatures craving dominance,
Powerful symbols with graceful manners,
Stings sharp, like a velvet dress,
Tides of patience, bouquet of asters,
Or perhaps,
A cordial, thunderous waltz,
Veil of mystics await the golden embers,
Care for a dance?

Bloodstained Moon
Chips Sep 2022
Burning the barn,
Scattered ashes,
Breeze of seas,
And glowing embers,

Off they go!
The mountain bees,
Through juniper fields,
For all who sees,

In tainted waters,
Where ships set sail,
There lies a tale,
Of "A Wolf With Scales"

Second Spring
Chips Aug 2022
Pickle in the brine,
Chaos of the mind,
Here comes the time,
I fear I'd find,

Too late to flee,
My dearest bumblebee,
Don't fear, you'll see,
White lilies under the oak tree

Smothering waves,
What sweet extravagance!
Wickedly viscous,
As she slowly decays.

A Letter to Death
Chips Mar 2022
It's a downpour,
The infinite jar,
It's that time of the hour!

Grab a mask,
Join the dance,
Paint the scene forever last,

Exhale, unwind,
Relieve the mind,
Of all the fantasies past,

Faith be told,
The pathway's divine,
For the death of mine.

The Expedition
Chips Jan 2022
Wayward,
The convoy’s descent,
Through the breathless hills,
The frozen riverside,
Amongst the wicked witch woods.

Howls of frost approaches,
Impetuous, callous tempest,
Beacon of catastrophe,
Sparks a menacing flare,
The ferocious force of humanity.

Beseech me if you must!
Though as harrowingly as it seems,
No abysmal depth in snow,
May conceal the end in mind,
Of these grimy hands of mine.

Midsummer's Flare
Chips Dec 2021
Basking the scorch,
Of summer’s peak,
The soulful sights,
Bracing breeze,
And the buzzing bees.

Green as far as the eye could see,
One sip of pure nectarine,
A dazzling waltz in nature’s theme,
Sparks a warmth within,
This lucid dream.

Garden of Mine
Chips Dec 2021
Patches of green are all I see,
But green are all that plants should be,
Where oh where, did you go?
The butterflies, bees, beetles,
Fireflies, flies, and friends?
Chips Oct 2021
Serpents sung a harrowing tune,
Seeds of sight planted in dune,
Opaque tides,
To hell they sway,
The macabre waltz,
A masquerade.

Monstrous
Chips Jul 2021
However notoriously must one picture my being,
None may surpass,
This horrid creature of me.
Chips Jun 2021
The silence is deafening,
Beheld upon the creaking drawers of an escritoire,
The sonorousness of all and none,
Still, oh so still,
May the hands of which lay immobilized by this muddled mind of mine.

Enamored
Chips Jun 2021
The very thought of her,
Ensnares and emboldens,
This rigid being of mine.
There, she lurks,
On the corners of a blessed smile,
Amongst the liveliness of a bustling street on a Sunday market,
Felt, by the breezing embrace of the sea through its gentle tides,
Within the exact glimmer of infatuation that encapsulates one’s eyes.

Malevolence

Treacherousness in the flesh!
It dawned on us,
As he set our home in flames,
And walked away,
From his progeny’s ashes.

Love is Poetry
Chips May 2021
Your appearance was much anticipated,
Well past nightfall,
Within these verses,
The palace of my thoughts,
Vivid as a thorn-filled valley of red blood roses.
As if to say,
“Love in itself, is such striking poetry”.

Valerina’s poem🐳
Chips May 2021
Serene breeze of the seas akin,
Her gaze falls on you - beguiled in ethereal realms,
Far from worry’s way.

Spellbound in her gaze,
One shall see clearer than the sun ablaze,
Of all seven seas,
In her wide eyes azure.
Just wanted to immortalize this poem written by my friend :)

You, Inescapable.
Chips May 2021
Moments of ours,
Ubiquitous fragments,
Eternally ensnared,
Cemented in time,
In smiles,
In vocals,
In portraits, disarray.

I Await The Moon.
Chips Mar 2021
Gone with daylight,
All too soon,
Emerge by nightfall,
Dreams opportune.

Midnight reverie,
Moonlit beams,
Magical dreams,
Are all I’ve seen.

I shall await thee,
My luminous queen!

Your scent lingers the air,
A distant fragrance,
Subtle taste akin,
An acacia honey toast,
On a midsummer’s fête champêtre.

Lost in Reverie
Chips Feb 2021
The mind is a lone wanderer,
Perpetually in thought,
Amidst the crowds alike,
Of fantasies untouched,
And faux foresight.
Chips Jan 2021
Cascades of light may reach one's toe,
When fate condones it so.
The warmth, the gleam,
Of skin therein,
With the sun,
Will betimes fade.

Thus be wise,
To relish it so,
For the ray might not recur.

Fidus Achates
Chips Aug 2020
Lighthearted souls gathered about,
Their strength incomparable,
With their good willed hearts,
And eyes that beamed with exuberance.

As the day grew long and weary,
They danced in tune,
Smiled widely,
And fought bravely by my side.
For all my beloved companions. Humans and canines alike.

The Man Aflame
Chips Jun 2020
His glare has pierced my skin!
From a million distant years,
Perhaps from another continent,
Another planet,
Another dimension galaxies away,
That felt all too close,
With those red eyes ablaze.

They fumed and howled!
Brimming with anger, guilt, and pain.
With tears overflown and nerves strained,
Of all the marionettes in his dying quartet.

He tugged their strings,
That made them dance,
Until they no longer could.
He pulled them together,
And made them quarrel,
Until one breaks the other.

He has laughed, rejoiced.
Then cries and repents.
He does as he pleases to watch them crumble,
For those are the amplified emotions array,
Of this monster in the making,

Bodies Array
Chips Jun 2020
Hand in hand,
They were formed,
By passion,
By souls entwined.

In profound love they must be!
To set these delicate creations free,
Such divine sculptures,
Sentient in clay,
Each full in emotion and in minds that sway,
But none the same.

New Beginnings
Chips Jun 2020
Harsh winds blew through,
In this cold, vast biosphere,
As I alone,
With none but my molted feather coat,
And these webbed pink feet,
Trudged across a paved way in snow,
To a place unknown.

Where lies my new colony,
With newfound friends,
And a family evermore,
Where I shall bear my soul!
Unjudged and beloved.

What an adventure this will be,
Surely not pleasant,
But one rough and obscure,
Where the malicious seals and skuas wait out to ambush.

Eager I was,
To be set free!
“The bright and bold”,
They’d say,
To us,
The youth,
The birds of times to come.

The Eccentric Light Show
Chips Jun 2020
I gazed upon,
These luminous lights,
Above heads held high,
And fists that soared through the sky.

It was not a halo,
Not a bulb,
But much like Northern lights in the sky,
Holographic swirls that enchanted,
And danced.

Kindlings of glow each soul comprised,
That bonded,
And brawled,
In this mix and match of colour and aura,
Sparks a spectacular flare of illumination in the atmosphere,
That became the stars.

Alas, The Past.
Chips Jun 2020
Frigid palms of hers,
I held in mine,
What a complementary caress!
Of magma and ice.

Memories I’ve missed,
Of the warmth,
In her tone,
Her laugh,
Her presence,
And the gleam in her eyes,
When she smiled was such a bliss.

Days like those,
With the pitter and patter,
Of rain and our chatter,
About the future unknown,
And the present we cherished,
Where our knees touched,
And fingers entwined.

I loved how it felt,
When her warmth met mine.

Pestilent Petals
Chips Jun 2020
You should never listen to roses,
Let alone gaze, smell or touch them.
Gaze it once,
You will never stop thinking of it’s fine features,
Smell its fragrant scent,
And you will never want it to fade.
Touch it,
And its little thorns will ***** your palms,
Leaving none but a crimson mess.

Although I gave it time,
Time wasn’t the matter,
I never learned,
I never did,
That a rose is just a flower.

So I held it and I soothed it,
I praised it and I spoiled it,
For now I am confused,
Or have I been fooled?
Of its fine beauty,
And its elegant ways,

Shall I dig the truth?
Or shall I let it be?
Though I have no clue,
Of what I should do,

One thing is certain,
The rose is as it is,
Who longs for no companion.
Until it needs someone the most.
Inspired by 'The Little Prince'.
