I always liked when it snowed
Because no matter how cold it was outside
I'd always have somewhere and someone
to keep me warm
And no matter how little I had
I'd always have something to give
And I'd wear a bow
Because the gift of family was enough

I Can Live Without

I can not live without the sun to wake me up and warm my face
I can not live without my family no one could ever take their place
I can not live without friends to guide me along the way and their mere presence brightens my day
I can not live without the moon and stars to close my day
They are my silent lullaby relaxing me for a peaceful slumber
I can not live without poetry breathing in life to my soul
I can not live without all these important things and many more
There is one thing I can live without, it is called regret because it always
takes a negative toll

I try to live with as few regrets as possible.

Let us treasure today
We are not promised tomorrow
Let us seize the day: CARPE DIEM

Let us dance like there's no tomorrow
Let us do things today instead of putting it off until tomorrow
Let us cherish the moment before it rushes away
Let us seize the day: CARPE DIEM

Let us eat all kinds of good food
Lets eat our favorites
Let us read our favorite poems
Let us write some poems too
Let us seize the day: CARPE DIEM

Let us tell our family we love them
Let us call our friends and tell them too
Let us create some memories and write them down
Let us not take things for granted
Let us not waste today
Let us seize the day: CARPE DIEM
Let us truly live before time slips away

If Today Should Be Your Last

Live this day like it could
be your last,
when opportunity comes
don't let it pass.
If someone you know
needs a listening ear,
give them yours
and be sincere.
Take a chance
don't be afraid,
you only live once,
make the most of today.
You're a beacon of light
created with love,
one of a kind
a gift from above.
There's good and bad
right and wrong,
know the difference,
as you journey along.
If today should be your last
each minute celebrate,
treasure every second
never hesitate.
Say what you have
to say love with all you are,
no regrets, you've
done your best and
tonight you'll earn your star.
