Words sliced
Diced and cubed
In a skewer
Some went into the stew
Chomp them away
Serve them chilled
Or slightly spiced
Many like theirs
Just on the rocks
Some like them sweet
Bitter there is no choice
To swallow and yet not wallow
Never once, forget twice
Words have a flavour of their own
How do you like yours
Grilled with the right spice
Maybe plain
Sans any dressing
Yeah, some like it minced
Each to their own
Words on the platter
Served just right
I like it raw uncut
Organic, fresh from the farm
Sometimes
Well done on both the sides
One can wish as one wants
Priceless the words
As ordered and served fine

You held me close
when I was scared
You guided me
when I was lost
A love like yours has no cost
You taught me dignity and self respect
Thanks for all my flaws that you accept
Maybe in some years I'll be like you
until then and always mumma I love you too

Words can’t explain what my eyes have seen
The pain it holds
The tears it cried
One look in my eyes and you wouldn’t notice the pain nor the truth it hides
My eyes hold my secrets

Your absence fills my heart

like an unclaimed piece of art,

you already knew

that I lacked hues

so

I

charged

U

for

theft

when

you

left

but you made me realize

how dull are my eyes

how muffled are my cries

how lame is my existence

how pointless is my persistence,

how far you are

when you still hold me close,

how easy I am

waiting to be the one you chose,

I know

in this world of "Hello"

all I'll ever be is "Crucio"

unlovable

&

unwanted

-a pretty little thing that'll

always remain haunted.
P.S. Neither have I watched nor read the Harry Potter Series.....

P.P.S. I really liked having you around. I'm sorry you will never be able to say the same about me. I really am a curse, a liability, a messed up personality.

the prettiest faces do hide the ugliest traces
She was a girl
full of dreams,
affectionate, adoring,
easy to please,
a full life ahead,
so it seems....

Living and laughing, dancing a dream,
loving life, to its means.
sixteen and beautiful
full of passion and grace,
she hungered for the day
she could take her place.

Hopes and dreams
of a full life ahead,
she saw it coming
she never had any dread.

Living and laughing, dancing a dream
loving life, to its means.
daytime turned to darkness
joy to grief,
laughter to tears
with no passion or grace.

Beaten and wounded
youth taken away,
she longed for the day
she could escape this place.

Protecting the ones she loved
from the outcome of her fate,
she pushed it deep down inside
and hide it at any rate.

Day’s turned to weeks
weeks turned to years,
she kept smiling and living
but joy was replaced with fear.

Longing for the one
who would hold her tight,
turning her darkness
back into light.

Living and laughing, dancing a dream
Loving life to its means…
