Love

I may never have been in a relationship, but I know love like an old friend. I know that love is not as youthful as it appears at first touch. I know that love, beyond all, is humane, powerful, yet it ages, and withers, rises from the ashes, stumbles and bleeds. I know that love knows no boundaries, that love is rebellious, fierce and strong, like the one who yields it. That love is something to be cherished, a calmness and serenity in storms you thought and still think you will never make out of.

Love keeps you alive and breathing, for through it all, you know, that your love for the One who Created you, is the only strength that will draw you towards making the right decisions. When all sense fails you, when all reason bites the dust, it is love that will see to it that you cling on to the shreds of what feels virtuous.

We possess an immense capacity, to build our scaffolds on this powerful emotion, something that drives us - that pours the very life force unto our beating hearts.

Love is beautiful, and bold. But beyond that, love, is humane, as is the one who wields it.

Little Red
Pain deep inside
Feelings that I try to hide
No matter what I do
it resides
Whenever you are
by my side
Knowing that
you will never be mine
Em back :]

I still see you when I close my eyes
I still smell you when I sniff my clothes
Though far, you feel so close
Especially when I close my eyes
You did not keep your word this time
You spoke the truth yet it was a lie
You said you were leaving and sure you did
But the truth is you never left

If I gave you my soul,
would you read each page?
Scribble notes of interest
and know me.
Would you take the time,
to help tape the seams?
Would you mend,
the fragility of my soul?
It tears and rips,
easily, emotionally.

Badass Recipe

He struts down the sidewalk
With a hint of a frown
His spoon swings beside him
Jaunty hat as his crown.

Childers peep with a gasp
As they watch him strut down
The musk that follows him
The stains on his gown.

There he goes, they whisper,
As the sun settles down
The Badass Chef, they say,
Of this Badass Town.

He pounds dough to a pulp
Whisking eggs beyond shape
Beets up on the salad
Stomping vatfulls of grape.

Skewers meat without thought
Chops neat through a bone
Flays sharks without care
Needs no sous, works alone

The Badass Chef
Of this Badass Town.

He hangs up his cleaver
At the end of the day
Dripping droplets of what
None have courage to say

He blows out his flambe
Spoon back at his side
Turns back to his war zone
Fists clenched with quiet pride

There he goes, they whisper,
As the sun settles down
The Badass Chef
Of this Badass Town.
I say, "Baby, I'm fallin'....!"
"Fallin' where?" You ask-
"Fallin' in love again!"
"Who is he?" You ask-
"Baby, I'm fallin' in love with you!"
"Why me?" You ask-
"Cuz I'm crazy about you!"
"Ooohhh, but why me?" You ask-
"Cuz I love everythin' about you, Baby!"
"Like what?" You ask-
"Your eyes, your smile, your voice,
Your laugh, your sense of humor;
Need I go on?"
"Ohhh no, that's quite enough." You say-
"Baby, that's good! Cuz I'm
Already fallin'.... fallin' in love again!"

You say, "Hey Darlin', I'm fallin....!"
"Fallin' where?" I ask-
"Fallin' in love again!"
"Who is she?" I ask-
"Darlin', I'm fallin' in love with you!"
"Why me?" I ask-
"Cuz I'm also crazy about you!"
"Aaahhh, but why me?" I ask-
"Cuz I love everythin' about you, too, Darlin'!"
"Like what?" I ask-
"Your sense of humor, your laugh,
Your voice, your smile, your eyes;
Need I go on?"
"Ahhh no, that's quite enough." I say-
"Darlin', that's good! Cuz I'm
Already fallin'.... fallin' in love again!"

"Baby, what do we do now?" I ask-
"How about this, Darlin'? He asks-
And he kisses her~
