siren call
 Feb 2020 A-Anon
SoVi
i once read a poem
about a siren call
during the night

so as i laid in bed
i stretched my senses
waiting for a sound

would i hear...

stars colliding
imploding on themselves

comets flying
their icy tails crackling

asteroids flying
rotating each other

or will i hear nothing
just silence
from a quite void.

saige
I clasp the chrome chain of the
white choker he bought me
This might be the most bridal I'll
ever appear
Still he swore to show me I am beautiful
enough
And a hard copy of the clinic results
And how to inhale angel dust
Sniff once, look up, then again
Into my lungs, let it drip down my throat
I could make little rows on his chest
if I want
Little lines I never thought I'd cross
God they go on and on and on and on
Walking through the wood
unvisited because it's dull
as the days of my aging,
I don't care the species
of that singing bird,
but, I am desperate
to understand
the language of its call.

No matter what you say
No matter what you do
It only matters that you care
And one plus one leaves two

Proof beyond the pudding
Truth beyond the facts
Whose promise rises with the dawn
As love keeps coming back
