glenn-keller
American
Glenn Keller is an American writer and poet. He set out to be a marine biologist, instead he served nearly ten years in the US Navy submarine service as a sonarman. He then set out to be a bicycle shop owner, and spent the next several years as a field engineer for sawmill computer systems. In a desperate attempt to do what he meant to do, he stopped traveling, and sought a quiet, ordinary life as a programmer, but instead with his wife became foster parents to disabled children. He now lives by the principle that there are no failures or bad experiences, but rather "material".
