Good things happen to bad people to make them good,

Bad things happen to good people to make them cautious

and to teach them to forgive

                          and to have long suffering

Thus, making them not only good but excellent!
I had this group recital about 5 years ago and these words failed to leave my mind.

Day is old

                             to the sunken
strength

       of the circle's gold

                                  in Yonder twain.
to the sunset on the window.

When to grab I'm not sure
Not when Time is tariff
Barely making of Future's contour
Space and fate in Miscellany

But perhaps I Must grab,
for that remaining Flickering seconds--
before Regret stabs my back
of once-in-a-blue-moon's Wasted Opportunity
Opportunity is given at the right time-- grab it.

If moments in our life can be put in a cd player,
I would:

Play the Moments
Pause the Memories
Stop the Pain
Rewind the Happiness
To only remember happy things

Yes I thought I knew my Bible
Reading piecemeal, hit or miss
Now a part of John or Matthew
Then a bit of Genesis
Certain chapters of Isaiah
Certain psalms, the twenty-third
First of proverbs, twelfth of Romans
Yes, I thought I knew the Word
But I found that thorough reading
Was a different thing to do
And the way was unfamiliar
When I read my Bible through
You who like to play at Bible
Dip and dabble here and there
Just before you kneel all weary
Yawning through a hurried prayer.
You who treat this crown of writings
As you treat no other book
Just a paragraph disjointed
Just a crude impatient look.
Try a worthier procedure
Try a broad and steady view;
You will kneel in awesome wonder
When you read the Bible through.

I hear the Autumn singing, the varied carols I hear.
Those of nature, each one singing its own as it should be
mellow and simple.
The breeze singing his euphonious tunes as he
howls or sighs.
The trees singing as they make ready for their
deep slumber, or leave off to welcome winter.
The birds quietly singing what belongs to them in their nests,
the nestlings singing from their eggshells.
The people singing as they smile or hum across the street, their footsteps sing as the dry leaves crackle.
The flower's song, her petals on their way to the ground,
shriveling to bid farewell for now.
Mother nature singing changes, of the seasons at its due time.
Each singing what belongs to him or her and to none else.

The colors tell what belongs to the earth
                ---at September the Autumn
                   of the Equinox.

Singing with open mouths their strong melodious songs.
