Little inexperienced girl
Wanted to eat the world
But it swallowed her whole
It won't return her
Until she's nothing but bones
When one’s soul’s quite
And the rhythmic thump thump
Of the heart
Assaults the mind’s silence.
One truly comes to terms
With the futility
Of banking on one’s utility
That’s the precise moment
Realization reaches the threshold of crystal clarity
That a higher power really does exist
And that the constant understanding and appreciation
Of this higher power
Is all that ‘really’ matters.
She an art piece of utter sensuality,
Her personality’s flushed with an
Esoteric Kind of geniality
Not to say she’s a meaty vegan.
Stars twirl and swirl within her eyes bounds
Like over enthused hounds
On heat.
She a fireball
Burbling with enthusiasm
Many will agree she got all the physical wherewithal
To charm
All and sundry
And that’s no small feat
No wonder she’s synonymous with honey.
She's got me dancing to the rhythm of her heartbeat....:-)
I found a place for me
it feels so free and deep
underneath the sea
I found a place to sleep

washing over my body
waves of cleansing grace
briny hands carry me away
I won't leave a trace

caught in the undertow
my body is yours to keep
within the ebb and flow
I found a place to sleep
as the silken webs stick to you
an ignorant bliss is written in your eyes
you are stricken by a venom inflicted
you're caught in a web of lies

there's a difference between visible and hidden
a difference between spiders and flies
you're a victim of innocence once bitten
you're caught in a web of lies
She stood on the edge of a cliff,
Looking out to a world that didn't exist,
Waiting for the winds kiss.
This poem was inspired by: Langston Hughes, "Suicide Note."
