Silly Girl
Yzabela De Leon May 2014
Silly girl oh silly girl
You cannot have it all
Too many toys to play around with,
Don’t notice the ones that fall

Silly girl oh silly girl
Your life is now perfect
Skin as smooth as marble, the perfect man
You’re not the ones to deserve me

Silly girl oh silly girl
What has gone to your head?
The perfectness, the popularity, the power?
You’re not the one to deserve it

Silly girl oh silly girl
Where are your “friends” now?
They’re gone now mama,
I will never understand

Silly girl oh silly girl
Did you think your life was all bliss?
Too caught up in all of the action, the worthless gold
Did you ever reminisce?

Silly boy oh silly boy
I think she deserves a kiss
Silly girl oh silly girl
Here is the one that you missed

So Sad
Yzabela De Leon May 2014
Have you ever felt
so sad
been sad for so long
you dont even remember when it first started
so sad that you dont know what hapiness is anymore
so sad that there are no more tears to cry out
so sad that your "friends" have accepted that you dont contribute to their conversations because youre just so sad
so sad that your mom stopped knocking on your door to check if youre okay
so sad that you cant even explain why the bags under your eyes are huge
so sad that the word sad is part of your personality
just so sad
always so sad

No Voice
Yzabela De Leon May 2014
Have you ever felt so alone?
Have you ever felt like you don’t mean anything, to anyone?
Like your life is one big constant..moan?
I just want my life to end

Why oh why must it be me?
Why can’t I be born cool, don’t you agree?
Ugly, fat, stupid and queer
Us victims have no voice, we only disappear

They called me names, they pulled my hair
I want to die, they didn’t care
What have I done wrong, what was the matter?
All I heard was laughter and chatter

Why oh why must it be me?
Why Can’t I be born cool, don’t you agree?
Ugly fat,stupid and queer?
Us victims have no voice, we only disappear

Don’t you think I deserve a chance?
To live my life, have a bit of romance?
Don’t you get tired of the teasing, the picking, and at the end,
what was the reward, there was never a reason.

Butterflies
Yzabela De Leon May 2014
liberated, I feel my soul
shaking nervously but feeling true
thoughts of right or wrong decisions fill my mind
enough excitement to drown myself
sweaty palms and always looking behind the shoulder
urging, uncertain, unsettled
heart beating faster than the wind
I stand there waiting anxiously
clouds getting greyer every second
hopelessly gazing
another burst of willingness, confidence
flying like I am part of the sky
butterflies
