kris evans
to the lush old fields,
i walk back,
filled with young yields.
from where i shall take back
the never ending memories
of my childhood days, i thought
i used to sit by the window sill
all alone and still
to watch the autumn sunshine
that peeps into the pane
the big old oak
and the greedy rook
the cherry blossoms on that lonely lane
the blushing lilies and white poppies
that bloom around the shire
i came from a racing world
where love vanished and is filled with dare
where the sea churns blood
and from where humanity fled
we took everything from her lap
and left it bare of warmth and sprout
none have time now
to look back at the fallen oak
nor the rook on the shabby scarecrow
who guards the barren fields
so scarce the cherry blossoms bloom
as the world began to race
trials narrowed to that little falls
where the running streams
told their weary tales
walls began to build up
huge and strong
nor a drop now came
through that restricted site
climbing further
to the peek up north
my ears caught a dirge
which the nightingale sang
to the dying earth
coz now we have opened the pandora's box
and infected the earth
i wonder where the squirrels went
'fore it was their place
now we encroached it
and to rebuild the woods
of fawn , the trespassers forgot
now all that is left of the brook
is a concrete wall
nailed to it a new plastic board
with bold letters printed
read: TRESPASSERS NOT ALLOWED"
this is a true incident
i grew up in a little village south of india.....there were lush fields and beautiful streams...but when i returned after many years i found my dear old place rotten like ****......it was hard for me to believe that human encroachment can lead to this much destruction......

When they move towards
Wind impels over the
Bamboo groves and
A thunderous sound spread over
Everyone scare........
They come to take share of harvest,
They are branded as Tughami  !
**Every one disquiet and pray to almighty!
*Tughami*– a *Sema Naga* word means spirit of nature. *Sema Naga* is tribes inhabited mainly in Nagaland of India. Among this group there is believe that after the harvesting when wind started (it is usually common in North Eastern Part of India from second half of February to First Part of April) blow (as because most of their homestead area is border with crop field are bordered Bamboo groves) people heed a sound over Bamboo Groves, they believes that  *Tughami* come to take share of harvest, because only because of mercy of Tughami they can able get good harvest. So, they respect it, put some crop near to Bamboo groves (which support the wild life) and pray to god at that time. Practice was shared by the villagers of *Pherema* of Nagaland in last January, when I visited the place.

She has hair
short,
and even though
she has the face of an angel
and a heart of gold,
she can't be a natural beauty
according to the world.

The waist line of her dress
on her
long torso
falls a couple ribs short.

A couple seconds short
for 1st place.
She will push and push
getting her short legs
to take her as fast as they can go
and get in
4th place.
Not a natural runner
that's for sure.

But her legs are strong
and so are her hopes,
she won't stop running,
she won't stop trying.
She will keep pushing
to get through the barrier
that's almost as thick
as her stubborn skull.

In that cranium
she will jam
months
of school work,
assignments,
pages of blank notes
into one night.
She wakes up the next day,
takes her final exam,
and comes home with a
barely passing
D.
No, definitely not a natural student.

But she will take that D
and make it something
beautiful,
something worth looking at.
An object more than just a letter,
where lines to her
are perfect and proportionate
and can flow onto the page
at her own pace.

That big red D
on that paper of black and white
now looks like a unicorn
jumping over a rainbow
that emerges from the depths of the ocean of
Failure.

Her parents look at the paper
and say
"Wow, you are a natural artist,
but you know what that gets you?"
"What?" she asks.
"Nothing!"

But she is the girl
with the short hair,
the long torso,
and short legs
that carry
the biggest heart
and the thickest head.
No matter how unnaturally
things may come to her
she will keep going
with a huge smile
on that angel face of hers.
Nurturing
babies
be no child's
play--
aftermath of
love
making.

The only thing I know
for certain is I'm alive.
And as long as I am
I will continue to strive.
Simply because, the ones
I love are also confused.
The world is a dark place
with those who are abused.
But our lights can take us
so far to a place of serenity.
That feeling is like a drug
that is the purest ecstasy.
I'll continue for you, I
and those I haven't met.
So keep your heads high
and don't fret or regret.
The glory exists down
a long road that is dark.
However God will guide you
if you follow your heart...
You are song,
Rain dropping on still pond.
You are sky,
I see Heaven in your eyes.
Your are peace,
A garden above the world.
Your are grace,
The gentle path of the swan.
You are knowing,
The wind that whispers alone.
You are star shine,
The dust that lights the plains.
You are vast ocean,
Mother to the Fathering atmosphere.
You are dancing light  .  .  .

I ain't no superstar.
Just a twenty year old boy
trying to be a man.

I wonder if I'll get far?
For this is the path I've chosen
to execute my plan.

It's been a weird few years.
I've done a lot of stupid things
that I'll have to answer for.

I've shed so many tears.
My motives were corrupt
and my heart became sore.

But recently I've seen a light.
A rejuvenation has set course
and I have a new attitude.

I've been wrong and I've been right.
I'm only human but I'm finally
on the right path towards gratitude.

What a marvelous thing mothers are.
Caring and loving unconditionally.
Sheltering a baby for nine months.
Feeling life grow inside of them
and continuing to love that life
even after it leaves her body.

I look at how many mothers have inspired
I look at how many fathers have left
Maybe that's why we call God,
"the Heavenly Father"
A mother works harder than any other
person to care for her child/children.

As a man, I've learned to understand
that love a mother sends us.
I'm so grateful for everything my
mother has done for me
and I realize, that I'll have to respect them
because I'll never feel what it feels like...
to be a mother

*I would be honored to wish all the
mothers a splendid Mother's Day and
may God continue to bless you with his love
The forever-stench of hoboken
The most composed... undress
Loosened to a senseless smirk
Keep walking...
The prettiest eyes droop to a cool low
Posture is hard to keep with them shots!
Keep walking...
Messaging another senseful planet the boring absurdity of now
Watch your step!
Her fine italian dinner is inches away
Or is it fine thai...
It's vulgarity kills any sense of definition
Uh oh... now there are more puddles!
Keep away from those leaking lakes
Of sushi... sashimi... heineken... absolut!
Absolutely acceptable in this town!
Come on! We're almost out of it
Out of the town we were once so happy to visit just a couple of hours ago
When everyone was efficient, and not venturing *****
When communication wasn't fogged, but clear and easy
When men didn't dress like 14 year old boys trying to score at a house party
And women didn't give away their IQ so easily, heads slightly bent forward with a lack of direction
Maybe it was home, maybe it was danger, maybe it was fun
The zombie within arose with a wretched stench of alcohol
Yet this will never stop selling
People are sold this "treasure" of acceptance, rank, a strong sense of esotericism, all lies
Yet in reality, they are simple facades, regular people like you and me.
O Hoboken, you stink
Hoboken, NJ
