lips all pouty trembling
my chin dimpled again
tears in my eyes listening
to your playlist
when I should be trying
to make the miles disappear
walking your way
if nothing else
instead of just singing along
to love songs on a
soggy Sunday afternoon
tears in my eyes
memories on my breast
wishing you were here
feeling your breath
smelling your perfume
lingering in
the past.

Cné
Who would think a rose so sweet
Would dry and crumble at the feet
And blooms that scent the night and day
Would steal a heart, then fade away

With petals soft and fondly red
Sweet essence fills an addled head
Then turns to dust before the eyes
Leaving naught, but sad surprise

Who would think such thorny vine
Could lift a blossom as divine
And by the stem on which it stands
Could so wrong an offered hand

Such strength and beauty is rarely true
A blessing owned by very few
As 'neath the soil, in winters keep
There sleeps a rose to tear a cheek

Who would think that perfect bloom
Could be a bane, a curse of doom
So fine a sight, yet in disguise
A rose to ***** and blind the eyes

Star light
Star bright
I wish, I wish
on an angel
But never come true
or maybe sometimes
It’s not that our dreams
Never realized
It’s just that sometimes
The angel we’re wishing upon
Could very well be the love of your life
Your spouse
And sometimes we may wish
To open our eyes and noticed them
For what they are
Our Angels
For me it’s a dream come true
For by far she is the best thing
To ever happen to me
There’s not a day I don’t
Thank her for choosing me
making me a part of her
And making me feel  like the king I deserve to be
She is my world and always
will be
My Angel
Have you noticed your Angel lately?
There are no promises
      for tomorrow,
   it may never come
say I love you today
to those special ones.

Set goals
       dream your dreams
but, live within today
       for right now
          this moment
             is truly everything.

Stop wasting time
      on what was before
the past,
lessons learned,
      now it’s time
          to close those doors.

Comes a time in life
   when one must grow,
      the saying is true
you reap what you sow….

Give your heart
to the one you love
         make it a point
to show them
          No One Else
   could ever rise above.

Live in the here and now
   give a smile
          to all you meet
walk every day in love
make your
            life complete.

the  bitter wilt on droopy petals  when yesterday
her tilt was to the sun strong as stems
could rise her sweet beauty to the skies
holding lips and arms and blossoms open
long enough for the breeze to romance
the nearest bee into a trance
is like the circle or a dance
of life that glances knowingly back
with wry amusement a sly smile glance
saying told you so  so many times
you should have known by now,
old friend of mine,
time is really nothing
but your
foe.

You sit in your covey all
Conforming to its boxy confines
Every corner filled to its limit
With fleshy retreats
The box constraining your minute
The corners defining your
Face your shoulders
Your thighs pressed to your cheeks in grimace the cardboard
Outlining your
Territory you've yet to explore
The whole thing.
And wonder about the things
Yet you may find when
You explode
From the constraints
What size may you become
What shape other than
Square. What space
You will find
When someday you come to find
The box was all in your mind
And the limits all fake
And self-imposed.

what of the seed perfumes the form of the
bud  the color of her petals her flow through
the cycle some wisdom or design
has to be in the manifest depth of that circle
creating a seed once more to shed light on a scented perfume
tall the flower grows in total beauty, you say
it is intangible where the design emanates
but riddles are for man to unravel
in all his sciences prose and poems
and for all the life's cycles
what we discover and decide usually leads
to many amazements
