My fingers reached for the tip.
As my lips hugged it,
You were at the back of my mind
Then I inhaled to the fullest.
I held every cloud as long as I could
So at the back you'd linger
Never to bother what's ahead.
Until I was at the brink of suffocating,
Until I needed to breathe,
I had to exhale and knew, as I wanted,
To let go every memory of you.
But as I did, I had no intention
Of letting a part of me drift with you.
I was able to smoke you out
With red droplets of me
Sinking through the earth.
I.
I'm not sure who or what I'm supposed to become.
Some believe they have it all made.
Others already succumb
to the pressures of life.

Too many people are concerned with vanity.
I've searched great distances to find who I am.
The fiery passion of wanderlust drives me to the peak of insanity,
could this all be a scam?

Where does it all stop?
Will it ever?
Am I made to just stand in the backdrop?
Or shall I go on living forever.

You won't remember the color of the tablecloths,
or the design on the plates.

You'll remember the gleam in his eyes,
and the way 'I do' tasted on your lips.
the look in your eyes is poetry enough because when I see them I don't see beauty or the galaxy but a lack of sleep and a constant desire

when your hands hold me I feel electrified, I feel like you're an open flame and I'm getting burned with every touch but if that's what burning alive feels like then I am no longer afraid to die

when you whisper in my ear you push away my hair and my neck already moved up, a constant muscle memory forming between your lips and the space rift under my right ear

when you roll your head back and drop the cigarette you make me feel like a queen because ****** nicotine cannot be better than this and your actions show it and I want to be the replacement for nicotine as long as we're together because that **** will **** you and I don't want you to die right now

**** baby I love you, but it's a new kind of love - it's a drop clothes stark naked kind of love, it's an animal love, it's a hand prints on body kind of love, it's a first we strip then we cuddle kind of love, it's a passionate kind of love, it's an I'll act like a child just so I can tease you kind of love, it's a I want to show the world you're mine kind of love,  it's the kind of love that is going to k i l l  m e
I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

I love you as the plant that never blooms
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way

than this: where I does not exist, nor you,
so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.
"I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

The stars go waltzing out in blue and red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

God topples from the sky, hell's fires fade:
Exit seraphim and Satan's men:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I fancied you'd return the way you said,
But I grow old and I forget your name.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)"
