There you are

As always

Trying to light a fire

With nothing but a single match.
Trying to solve the puzzles
of life. Is it not you morphed cloud of
lips in fusion of love and stings?

The heart of a fig tree says
it with flowers. Why did you look back?
Would you like to sleep under the stones?

Invent a truth like a lie.
Critique will give the jdgement. Why
the moon will confess a ******.
Oh the seeds we sew,
upon the rows of grain
we weep, hydrating the
life we’ve lived.

Life’s a beach of many
possibilities, each piece
of sand is a possibility
waiting to be harvested.

Our experiences beat upon
the shores, colliding with
ideas and opportunities.

As we dream of higher pastures,
our future waits for us to wake.

Dream no longer, for the future
is ahead always moving forward
pushed by the ever expansion of
space.

We are the idea of what is possible.

YouMe
A ringing in my ears
Is all I hear
When you say that word
And how easily it seemed
to have fallen from your lips
much like I
think I may have fallen for you
When life is far from easy,
Help me in these times, dear Lord;
And in difficult moments,
As well as times when I'm bored.

Help me, Lord, to persevere,
To do things that are worthwhile;
In life when I'm impatient,
Others, Lord, help me not rile.

Lord, help me to be patient,
Help my heart to be at peace;
Help my heart to be gentle,
Don't let your peace from it cease.

When I find life hard to live,
Wisdom and strength to me give.
pick a side
pick a side
pick a side

like sports teams
like equations
like war

pick a label
pick a gender
pick an orientation

what the hell
do we need sides for?

i'm on the side of acceptance
i'm on the side of love
i'm on the side of no sides

maybe one day that will be enough
she told me to pick a side

ok okay
With absence in his mind
A ghost was stuck in time
Raindrops were his tears
The empty mirror was his fear
He was not dead
Nor alive
He had not lived
Nor had he died
