Walking corpse,dead while  breathing
Lost hope and shattered dreams
I see broken hearts ,unhealed wounds
Guilt and pain carried over day after day

Come alive,come alive
Know that you have a portion
Within you lies a solution
Why are you hoarding your gifts

Come alive, the times require you alive
No one will do what you are meant to do
There is your purpose, stored within you
Yet you are moping and letting time go

Why are you breathing really?
When your purpose is undiscovered
Constantly sapping and never replenishing
You are meant to be Alive and add value

Come alive this is the land of the living
And Don't think you have much time here
Get over that pain so you can help others
Arise and begin to shine forth
This is what I saw, corpse walking.people who believe there is really nothing to life.people who have lost direction, purpose, and don't even realise how dead they are.

This axe was made from
Oak and
Anger.
Forged in the fires that
Shaped my cardiac
Armour.

I'll never surrender to a
Woman
Who sees love as war
Ever again.
It's been a long,
Lonely time.

But I've seen peace.
Still sacrifice to the gods,
Praying for brief, cold
Winters; for all other
Seasons to be neither.
They all have room for a

Woman between them,
But my hatred for ego
Is a burning beacon of warning
Even I myself shun.
I just want the silence.
That deep, deep silence,

Whose last word will never be:
"Me,"
But:
"... ... ..."
That, I can love.

This axe was made from
Oak and
Anger.
It beats paper; scissors; stone.
Sees me armed. And still
Alone.
Down by the river
Fog dances and swirls
To mists in thought

Down by the river
Swims the desires
we keep hidden deep

Down within the river
Flows the hardwired
reality that speaks

Dance fleet shadows
of souls heavenly
they seek

Down by the river
ache and heartbreak
forms swirling clouds

Down by the river
rising from the tears
we weep loud

Let us dance
our lives radiant , free . . .
Down by the river
Inspised by the music of Shakey Graves
