The Ice dogs are howling

Hear them roar

Loose on the wastelands

They mean war

Patrolling at the margins

Looking for an ‘in’

Listen to them calling

Let fighting begin

Scarred of greying muzzle

Torn and rent of ear

They sing throughout the ages

A song of blood and fear

The world will always listen

To their glory tales of  war

We invite them to come calling

As they raise an armoured paw

Then we watch our soldiers falling

As we always have before!

The road is humble
it doesn't partake
in rights from wrong
Yield !!!
take a moment to think
be courteous
safe and thankful.

her

her smile on a screen
her hand on a pen
her laugh from the passenger seat

we wouldn't have to run away to be happy
we wouldn't have to be falling apart to fall in love

the music and the colors and the movement

her.
how can being so happy make me feel so sad?

Happy feet
The crow on the bamboo stick
No shiny objects in sight
Looks side to side obliquely
The green worm hanging low
Would be fine for the morning time
Solitary, the crow
perched atop the bamboo stick
later may find a bone to pick

Come sit with me
On this stone of sorrow;
Weep, lest I weep alone.
We may have laughing again...
Tomorrow;
But today, I'll rest
On this sorrowing stone,
Together with you
Or alone.
Drove all day to say goodbye to my Mother. She left this life four hours before I arrived. I am glad for her peace, and I am mourning her loss.

Mmm...shades of grey
subtly stroking the dune,
my sweet Delilah
it's like walking on the moon.
Getting older doesn't mean colder
