My Hero
babygirl45 Jan 2019
You held my hand
When I was small
You caught me when I fell
You're the hero of my childhood
And my later years as well
And every time I think of you
My heart still fills with pride
Though I'll always miss you dad
I now that you're by my side
In laughter and in sorrow
In sunshine and though rain
i know you are watching over me
Until we meet again
Missing my daddy

Tears
babygirl45 Jan 2019
I come when pain
Becomes too much to take.
I come when you're sad,
Or your heart starts to break.

I might come when you panic,
I might come when you're mad.
I'll show up here and there,I come when pain
Becomes too much to take.
I come when you're sad,
Or your heart starts to break.

I might come when you panic,
I might come when you're mad.
I'll show up here and there,
When enough is what you've had.

I'm salty and warm,
I might be big or small.
Sometimes when you're strong,
I don't come up at all.

I fill your eyes with moisture,
I roll down your cheek.
Sometimes I mean joyous,
Sometimes I mean weak.

Sometimes when you're scared,
I come as a sign of fear.
You can feel when I'm coming,
Whether far or near.

I may come along
When you hear your favorite song.
Sometimes I show up
When you've been strong for too long.

I know you want to fly away.
I know inside you're a mess.
You long for a brighter day.
Tears are words the heart can't express.

My last love
babygirl45 Jan 2019
You're not my first
But you are my last

I been through a lot of break-ups
But that's all in my past

Laughter that never ends
Because you bring me so much joy

I was lucky to have you as a friend
Now I'm blessed because you're my boy

It was a lot of options
But I was glad to choose you

You might have lied to them
But I believe your words are true

But like opposites attract
And I'm attracted to you

I want you to be the last boy in life
That I say "I love you" to
this is for my boyfriend

Love is
babygirl45 Jan 2019
Love is a walk in the rain at night,
Two hands holding onto each other tight;
Love is honey on a pair of lips,
Onto a tender heart it drips;
Love is a soft and gentle touch;
Your heart, a child's hand may clutch,
Love is a song that stains the air,
Dead or not, it's always there;
Love is both the sun and moon,
Across the sky, like stars, it's strewn;
Love is a tree of abundant fruit,
Giving and serving with every new shoot;
Love is a document, faithful and strong,
To one another, now do you belong;
Love is a river that rages with passion,
Finding ways to calm pools no matter the fashion.
this is a poem about my boyfriend

The Monster
babygirl45 Jan 2019
If I showed my  true colors,what would society think?
Would they laugh,show pity,or read the ink?
I am exhausted from smiling every single day
When i know the pain won't  go away.
Every night i cannot sleep
Because my thoughts run so deep.
They went for a stroll
But got ****** into a black hole.
My focus is no longer there,anymore
I don't know why I am like this, I swear.

I love you
babygirl45 Dec 2018
I love your lips when they’re wet with wine
And red with a wild desire;
I love your eyes when the lovelight lies
Lit with a passionate fire.
I love your arms when the warm white flesh
Touches mine in a fond embrace;
I love your hair when the strands enmesh
Your kisses against my face.

Not for me the cold, calm kiss
Of a ******’s bloodless love;
Not for me the saint’s white bliss,
Nor the heart of a spotless dove.
But give me the love that so freely gives
And laughs at the whole world’s blame,
With your body so young and warm in my arms,
It sets my poor heart aflame.

So kiss me sweet with your warm wet mouth,
Still fragrant with ruby wine,
And say with a fervor born of the South
That your body and soul are mine.
Clasp me close in your warm young arms,
While the pale stars shine above,
And we’ll live our whole young lives away
In the joys of a living

DAD

DAD
He never looked for praises
He was never one to boast
He just quietly working
For the ones he loved the most
His dreams were seldom spoken
His want were very few
And most of the time his worries went unspoken too
He was a firm foundation
Though all our storms of life
A sturdy hand to hold on to
In time of stress and strife
A true friend we could turn to
When times were good or bad
One of our greatest blessing
That man we called
Dad
my dad was a wonderful man
