No disrespect for the power of prayer
It can't fix this
Somebody wants a Civil War in the United States
History repeats itself and he lit the flame encouraging it
Just like he did on January 6th
He and his followers need to be gone and dealt with before another parent buries a child
Or another underpaid hard working educator is taken way to soon
Care needs to be part of every life not a chosen few
How do I know?
As an educator that took a weapon from a child before the class might have had a tragedy
The student brought the knife to school because he was threatened
The dean was dumbstruck when the report and weapon were handed to him
This did not happen yesterday and he had no right to do that
This comes straight from the heart and mind of a caring soul that has had enough
Many have had enough long before 2020

She wrote glad I was raised in a different time and place
Was she carefully taught as the song tells us
She is of this world but not living it to its utmost
Is she too blind to see that change is a constant?
Liking that is another story
Hate is a four letter word that is taught
Children will play together and enjoy each other’s company
Until a adult pulls them away from each other
Seen it with my own eyes because of color,creed,and religion
Gay and straight definition doesn't change
Accept don't reject
You are here for now with so much more to learn and enjoy
Why do you choose to live in the past and not grow
There is something you have yet to know
Be part of the world now because as Neil Diamond wrote used
To bes don't count anymore they just lie on tbe floor til you sweep them away

When I say
that you are my Sun,
I don’t mean that you are
Luminous,
Brilliant,
Gilded,
Beautiful,
Bold,
Warm,
Or even the center of my universe.
I simply mean that
I cannot look at you
Without hurting

You always find a way to make me smile
When weeks and days don't jive
You invoke the one day at a time mantra
Only you my one and only show me to live and be alive
Regardless of reasons or matters
The biggest gift is being your wife
So, please stop Thanking me for loving you

When  you come full circle
Revolving doors can be painful
Watch for sharp corners that might deter you
That includes people and places too
Others lurk where you least expect them
Shut the doors behind you for those who stayed awhile but their time is up
The no longer play a role in your life
Be grateful they were there at all
Take that deep breath.
You earned it.
It took a lot out of you to reach this intersection and plateau
You crossed it
But know that you did but don't revel in it for too long
It served its purpose and  down the road it will be a private smile that only you will recognize
Just remember this when you come full circle
You now know what matters the most so take care of yourself
Those that will always be there for you are in reach even when you
are out of touch
Just look over your shoulder
As well as into your heart
When you come full circle
