Every story has two sides to the tale

It's about which side of the story you want to hear
Some choose the part of truth
Others choose parts their mind will make up

Which side

Will you choose.
Goes for everything I've come to learn growing

T shirt
Jeans, holes in the bottom.
Rockin stardom,
Fame
Guitar, no shame
***, drugs, rock and roll.
All comes with a price!
Word of advice
Stay away from the groupies
Who want to be the star's of the scene.
The yells and screams last
But for a moment
Your life last's eternal.

Scatterbrained I stare outside my window pane.
Once clear with a yard fresh the falling rain.
The flowers bloomed as meadow gained.
Now the yard is due for fall leaf change,
As cold will come and snow will show.
The earth renewal in humane plow.
Once the budded seed's
Now dead as the ground.
Venturing into a new phase,
Embarking into another, where sister's and brother's meet on the holiday's. A gravy bowl on Christmas day, thanksgiving for the giving again and again. Grandchildren to dress up as Indian's and pilgrim's, tradition mixed with fiction. Wife in the kitchen. While at that time nothing could be sweeter then my family in my eyes.

Fishing for compliments
I will fish for a new guitar
Fishing for **** condiments
Rock and roll, old timesty bar.
Fishing to fish
A good relaxation.
Fishing to memorize
Your past age extension's.
Fishing to fight
If your fighting the right reason's.
Fishing for catchup
Yes,
I really need to catch up with old friends, family, and loved ones.

Mississippi, down to louisiana
Prowling new Orlean's
Than a right to Alabama,

Than I'll trip to Florida
In the vehemence by the bay
Catching the jellyfish view
And the Floridian way.

Life's not a cakewalk. There are trial's, tribulations.
Downtimes, agitations. Sweet lovin or imitations.
Life's not a cakewalk, life's a seed so let it grow.
Life is a plea of something bigger than us
Let life's seed flourish and grow.

We count our sorrows
Spew our hate
Goodbye planet nothing
It's far to late.
We landed our fate
A date with the bad
We forgot the good
Became horrible moms and dads
We taught our children nothing
Thought we gave them something
Nothing is for nothing
When we gave nothing.
Tommy Jackson Sep 2015
Compassion is key
If you have faulted needs
Leave behind your beliefs
And let the release
Of poetry increase
To be you and me
Let's run the rocked streets
And if we do meet
Let's shake gentle hands
But if we do argue
The better ways are planned.
I have no demands
But to give something new
And when your a poet
It's giving
That's something we must do .

Memories are a part of life
And to
A part of love.
Memories fade
As do day's
A see you later
Turns into goodbye drugs.
Always sedating
To not think again
Will the honey come back
Can I smile pretend.
Maby it's just my tiredness
Or waiting for her to return from her trip
I miss her little nighty
The one that's red cotton glitz.

Trying to tip toe silently across the floor of the bed.
While my wife sleeps in a state of euphoria
I sing to her
With the acoustic words,
Wake up please wake
Satisfying Gloria.
Satisfying Gloria is a song I am making not my wife's name really represents glory to my wife. Just called it Gloria.

It takes that one first step
To change the whole
Spectrum of your entire life.
Leading either to good or bad
Or wrong and right.

Being grateful for the things to come and the things I have.
Being grateful for the good or the bad.
Being grateful, for all taught by my mom and dad.
Being grateful, happy or sad.
Being grateful,
For all the things great to come.

Copius family
When my day's aren't so good.

Populous of the kisses
From my dandy, she make's bad better, and mean's understood.

Irksome Hassel's
I easily from these get upset.

Anger comes out
From word's not meant, the old guitar does pay the rent.

A shiny string , my wife who sings
Zero cool, to make me drool. Her vocalizing makes me fling.

Far out I tell her, she's a low down rocking mom
Rocking out, passing out, to Guinness green applause.
Tommy Jackson Jan 2016
Happy new year poet fantasizers
Happy new year poet writers!
Happy new years to those who know no years.
Never get old, throw away the old mirrors!
Happy new years,
Poet's and poetesses.
Let your writes be rocking invites
For hugs and poetic kisses.

We make our hero's as God's

When in fact, those hero's aren't God's at all

Those hero's are a heighth and depth on

Which we wish to reach.

We can become those hero's we go after.

We can become the hero we seek.

So that the hero's we once chased

Can now chase us, and its us to them who will teach!

I tripped up on my
Own shoe, the ripple water was green and blue. black
Was the night on this toppiece shroom,
The seventies were a fine year
Of highness and tunes.

One wailing guitar
String's to the wammy board
A jam to blast out there ears

Plays fine history to me.

Tender wife
And I rest where the blue's are
Rocking rod, Joan Jett
A night to remember
To never forget

What is self destructive behavior
Is it hate one savours,
Is it the humiliation one gives for flavor.
What is kindness, is it fineness
Of a delicacy not served to the people and their wants.
Just to mure someone in a corner
As we raise our sons and daughters
We should probably take a look at how we
We're raised ourselves.
Tommy Jackson Dec 2015
We make symbols into meanings
Meaning into symbol's. We stand tall and crumble
We bow to be humbled, though pride stretches our necks.
A newer time, Gen-x. The grown and young both deserve respect though greed and balance and checks make wrecks out of the world we call our own . selfishness leave out the door, pick up
A letter, type a novel, or call on a phone.
Your loved ones await you. The time to be humble is now

Hush little baby don't say a word

Tommys gonna rock you a rockers verse,

Strum once, then twice again.

I'll rock all night, melody no end.

If that melody don't spread to the roof,

Tommy's going to play it again for you.

So close your eyes dear,
Please don't peek,

Tommy's going to show you

What endearment means.

If that endearment doesn't bust through the door

Tommy's going to play it more and more.

Jam so loud that my strings will bust,

Tommy's going to love you melodious.
Tommy Jackson Jul 2015
Love, it may so happen,
Love, it works, I tell you.
Never stop saying, as your always saying,
“Nothing, nothing but love.”
You alone, shall be you
And I, love you
For my wife, love you
Tommy Jackson Jul 2015
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

This is a Robert Frost poem I forgot to have put this down

Innocent child eyes
Corrupted by imagery
Of bloodshed and war.

Soldier in his twenties
Tears off his badge
Saying to the man
"I don't work for you no more".

Crystal clear are all your fear's
When the lightbulb goes out.

Dim and dark you walk the spark
Where the poets travel in dusky
Parks.

Crystal clear are all your tears
When your writes are not noticed
Well my focus is here.

I get so much inspiration
Just by the rest of

August is the stage
With the backdrop set

Venerable speaker's
Sound musician's can't forget

Eminent bands
Blue's, rock, metal, slapping hand's

Funk, the ****
Cup's of bud light, and heavier stuff

No earphone's
These jam's homemade fresh

No cheap microphone
The horde and the wife

Only need the best.

Images

Flash. Sound bang dash.

The drummer cracks
The drum stick to the drum. Summers mash
Acoustic hash, echoes pile the streets
Of the rocking gnomes.

Children left their home
For San Francisco's loan
Only to be cold
Wearied tired and sleepless,

Fed only the crumbs
Their guitars would bring.

Their still alive
But as for now
I won't forget
The death of the hippie.
Tommy Jackson Aug 2015
Over the hill they say
When it comes to my age,
I miss the golden years
But now my fears
Have arrested me in worry caves
And as a young man
I could count the cars
Passing by dads house.
But now I'm older
A geezer, a loaner
To those I want to help.
Like dad did with
All his friends
Loaned out wanting nothing back
These are the morals
Dad taught me
As I remember
Dad had my back.
reminiscence was pop's speciality
Now I have reminiscence
Of things that used to be,
An elder now
With his stringed guitar
I sing dad's words
In my concerts
And bars.
And wherever I go to
His words are stuck in my head
Son, don't die young
When your older
"Your already dead".
Those talks will not leave me
My golden years actually just begun.
Dad was right
In my restless nights
I'd find a wife
For me to love.
I'm glad that pop had met her
She was a daughter to his last wishes
On his bed
I kissed his head
Goodbye dad.
To the azure
You will gallivant
With your banjo, and string with me.
While I'm jamming down in dads rock and rolling dimension.

The best feeling
Waking up and knowing your still breathing.
Tommy Jackson Dec 2015
Shadows moving to my door,
Pleasure seeking at my wife's
Feet, I explode into many
Different pieces, the kitchens
Taken by me with her sweets.
Strawberry goodin's
Apple pie loving.
Rock and rock on the record
Player, track number seven.
Kashmir, stairway to heaven.
Boogie with stu
Zeppelin to contend with.
Melody sound's
Loud we yelp out.
It's privacy
No knocking,
Keep the neighbors far-
And out, southern
Soulfood after the sweet
Devotion, the nights almost
Over, like a clover I'm lucky
In her promotion.

Rock and roll's strings to me
Buzz, hum, and keep rolling.

The world  is much
Ado about nothing.

Much ado about
Something.

Frustrating it
Seems when love is
The key
Ingredient to get by in our one life on earth
Until the next.

When will we learn?
Tommy Jackson Aug 2015
Love could be like glass

If you drop it, it shatters

And never be put completely back together

But love can also be like porceline

Never cracks & stays forever

As honey I will be the porceline.
Tommy Jackson Mar 2016
She sat there alone and cold and naked
I picked her up
Put her in a jar
I really didint think
The little sun flower
Would make it

Life is but a stopping place,

A pause in what's to be,

A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity.

We all have different journeys,

Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay...

Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,

For some the journey's slow.

And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,

And find an everlasting peace,
Together at your door
This is draft thought I would release
Tommy Jackson Sep 2015
I had a joint, the left hand
Took a ****. Off I choked
I saw the smoke, as the lsd
Hit me I became a different man.
Different plan's took over my head
A bag of munchies, food so crunchy
I was alive and saw the trails from the acid
I was as good as dead:
Took another microdot, the color's flew.
I saw everyone from past and present
I guess the mescaline from the night before
Made me who I am today to.
