Without God life is hopeless,
For what is there to really live for?
If not created by God then what's your lifes goal?
Breathing yes but purposeless,
For what can be created without use?nothing, yes!.
Or what can exist without being created and actually have use?
Nothing of use.
All of life is like a book,
You are a character,
But with free will, written by the greatest author.
You're not trapped like a fish on a hook,
You choose your way,
But the storys already written,
No matter how you go astray,
His will can never be beaten.
Creation is purpose, evolution an accident. Which stands?Creation. Unless you choose to be an accident. Which no one actually is.
No one could ever touch
the  s u n  's  surface.
No one could ever embrace
the whispers of the  w i n d ,
& the depth of the s e a s.

But they could . . .

The sun even from a faraway,
sheds rays of light,
The wind that tingles our skin
in a cold night,
And water that drowns us,
from head to toe,
soak us. .

Just how unfair
That there would always be things
That can  t o u c h  us,
K i l l   us. .
But we can't.

.

Take this, this poem
with torn, tattered edges
Stuff it in pockets
of jeans faded blue
Tell all the people
who teeter on ledges
Nothing is worse
if you have not a clue

Shatter this pen
flowing ink made of fire
Charring the castles
where dragon wings fly
Fanning the flames
that a sad heart has started
When every stanza
now ends in goodbye

Fracture the vase
that once sat in the window
Emerald green
with a chardonnay shine
Toss me the shards
till you see I am bleeding
Now have some cheesecake,
a nice glass of wine

Bury these dreams
so they fade in the morning
Hidden from sunlight
and coated in dew
Roll out the leaves
in the cover of autumn
Springtime for me
is now long overdue

I could swim through wormholes until the universe ends and I'm certain I'll never find anyone like you. I'd be a billion light years away, still clutching that same photograph.

Look Up

There's a full moon tonight.
I hope you look up and gaze at it.

That way, I can say we've done something
together.
