I envy you, for you see her day and night,
While I am left to face these lonely nights.

I despise you, for you steal her away,
Just when I begin to cherish the moments she stays.

You envy me, though she bends to your will,
For she loves me more, and always will.

You despise me, though you see her bright and bleak,
For you cannot feel her warmth as I seek.

So, Time, though we are sworn enemies,
I ask your blessing to hear her melodies.

Let her stay with me, and take your shadows far from me.

He walks alone, tracing the places where her footsteps once lingered. The city feels borderless, an empty world where her laughter once echoed. The silence is deafening, the nights long, the pain deep.

He finds himself writing her into his poetry, his art. But she is no longer there to read it.

Time passes, and yet, she stays—an unfinished note in his heart, a whisper in the wind.

Somewhere in another city, she feels it too. But love is cruel, and fate never promises a second chance.

They were never meant to last—only to leave a mark on each other’s soul, an ache in the rains of time.
She left, but her echoes stayed. Some stories don’t end; they just fade into the silence.

The cool breeze awakes me and there I am in the hammock looking out at the sea with you in my arms next to me smiling but I blink and your gone replaced by this gun when only moments before you were smiling at me the cold steel stares it's barrel at me like a lover afraid I blink and your face is in front of mine smiling sweetly and divine wake up  I hear the words but I can't respond or move waya wake up we have stuff to do today the sun behind you shining past into my eyes I squint slowly about time sleepy head I feel the smile on my face and I blink filled with joy to only see the sun coming through my window and you nowhere near me
the dream I had last night that felt so real
