Lily
She was always too smart, too afraid, too strong
Too cautious to fall in love
Too perfect to get hurt

Always on guard
Always in charge of her heart
Eyes always open wide

But behind this fort that
She's learned to build around herself
She's as vulnerable as a child
Who can't afford to cry

Polar
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.

At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver
Song of a lark.

Walk on through the wind

Walk on through the rain

Though your dreams
Be tossed and blown.

Walk on
Walk on

With hope in your hearts

I And you'll never walk alone

You'll never walk alone.

Walk on
Walk on

Polar
He holds a flute of hollow reed

To lips divine and blows.

When I hear the tune he plays

I feel my breath doth slow,

My mind doth drift

Away from time and sense

And when he leaves

For what he takes

There is no recompence.
