From your empty mind
Find something to say
That has not yet been said
Find a bride
That has not yet been wed
A country not yet found
On this belching ball
Hurling through the universe
Find a secret never heard
In human words
And a riddle yet unsolved
By the wisdom
Of our sages
Through the dimness
Of the ages
Sign the unsignable
Find the unfindable
Send out the summons
For that child of a barren woman

Sean Hunt        Sept 2016
This came from a momentary contemplation of the actual absence of a poem, staring into 'The Source' of pems, the void, and allowing the poem to manifest from that place in a steady flow.  It was an interesting exercise.  I'm not sure how good the poem is but it was quick and effortless and spontaneous.

Remember this morning
Abiding in stillness
Mind unwound
Staked right down
Nowhere to go
Nothing to do
An absence of ‘Me’
An absence of ‘You’
Inspired by the fire
Of wisdom and love

During your delicate
Dangerous days
When walls are falling
And sirens are singing
And maras are flinging
Every thing
Remember this morning

Today
Bright green tears
Float slowly
Down
To the ground
First sign of the end of summer

Murk

Occasionally
A very worthwhile
And beautiful verse
Will bubble
To the surface
Through the pretentious murk
Of pretender-Poets
Please
Forgive
My pathetic contribution
To the world of murk
Commentary to 'dailies'

Once In a while
Beautiful verse
Bubbles
To the surface
Commentary on 'Dailies'

I am attached to words
I pop them like pills
For me they can be the same
As a videogame
Or grains of *******

In my sandbox of sound
There is no one around
I build my castles up
And sometimes take them down
To the ground

Word play for me
Can be a strategy
A way to stay away
From things I dislike doing
During my day

Does not do a thing for me
