How she shines mischevious bright
Lighting a way almost
Her light touches me, but I cannot remain
Heavenly body in the dark of night
Outshines the stars
But spoilt by this day
Cool elegance to the eye
Yet burns bright to my soul
Transient, but ever there
Dependable as the tide
Ephemeral as the night
Mysterious universe so close at hand
Written for a woman
i think i am a
fatalistic optimist
accepting what comes
but in love with the process
i know the value of life
and the lessons to be learned
i try to stay positive
with a clear and open mind
so i can learn my lessons
with objectiveness and truth
and it is my firm belief
this will make me free

i love women
they are so fascinatiing
captivating
seducing and challenging
to my body and my mind
a world without them would be
a tragic and empty place
which i would want no part of
i love women
Choka
i have a lot more to say on this, but that will have to wait for a much longer work.
a single red rose
bleeding petals in the wind
crimson tears in flight
Senryu
bright little pearls
sparkling white in an arc
i love your smile

EJR
even when the darkest of clouds begin to form
i still love you when you're storm
even when my heart gets ripped by pain
i still love you when you're hurricane

even the darkest parts of you bring light
even the darkest parts of you shine bright
everything that's wrong seems right
when i have every reason to give up, i'll fight

when everything's messed up and lost
that's when love matters most
you don't give up on people you love

Jett, i will never ever give in.
if you're already tired, let me fight for us.
I will always fight for our love.

Words are harmless, so they say,
That's where the problem starts;
Sticks and stones
May break our bones
But words will break our hearts.

Words are harmless, so they say,
And point you to their charts;
It's harmless fun,
No damage done.
But... Who will mend our hearts?

The x-rays show no damage
Where words have scathed across,
But it still feels hard to manage,
And leaves you at a loss.

Words are harmless, don't complain,
That's where the problem starts.
It's quite absurd-
A single word-
Enough to break our hearts!

But words are harmless, they maintain;
The subject of their parts,
No less or more,
So let them pour
From all our broken hearts
“Sticks and stones may break our bones, but words will break our hearts” is a quote I have stolen directly from Robert Fulghum.
In my defence, he'd already stolen half of that quote himself.
