In the pitch black of night
Lights shine bright
Keeping the boogey man
In the corners
Where no one will see him.
One brave soul, though
Braces the unknown
Running through the dark alleys
In search of the scary demons of the night.
He lights fires in the endless sea
Of aimlessy floating things,
To see, in relief, that
Nothing was ever there.
That the boogey man in our dreams
Never left our mind to
Become the monster we
Imagine in the dark.

Some times when I cannot sleep at night,
I imagine all the people of the world and
Wonder how they came to be.
You and I are on the same planet,
Spinning ever so closer to our deminse
And some times I wonder
How that came to be.
When the brain that is in my head
will not stop thinking,
I wonder existentially
About how things came to be.
Then I become very concious of the things
That never came to be, or in fact, cease to be.
The ones that lie in their graves
So cold and old and only bones.
And then I remember that one day,
That will be you and me.

It's a feeling I think
I have to crave
Your hand in mine
Is like a lullaby
Your eyes sparkle
In the sweet sunlight
And by the moon's light
They don't loose their luster
My head on your chest
I can hear your heart beating
And time stops for a second
The world around us
May still be moving
But we lay here stagnant
In our own universe
With little infities
Enough for a lifetime
But yet this moment could
Not last long enough
For our time is fleeting
Though it just begun
